    Released players - all leagues

Jermaine Defoe may be available this summer, even at 38, he'd piss all over our current crop. Scott Dann and Gary Cahill available. ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Get this deal over the line, get another young CB at a similar level and it's the basis of a top half back 3.

Don't really want to get involved in this, but, pritty much every empire/nation in the history of our species has had/dealt in slavery. We were no different, and I'm sure it still goes on today in the developing nations, Would it be fair to argue that no other nation has done as much as the UK...

    Overall Quality Of The Championship

Absolutely ripped Pask a new arsehole and he ain't exactly a slouch himself, we got caught out a few more times then that, Blackburn for example was like watching men v boys. The quality of players is definitely there, most can kill a ball dead with their first touch and ping on a perfect pass...

    Liam Walsh

Any fee will be minimal by the looks of it. From the rules, I think we may owe them a max of 25k if he were to sign. Looks like the compensation packages are mainly made up through the academy years (pre 16). Page 50 & 51...

I assume as soon as we post the accounts, it'll be lifted, having a quick look at the Chelsea situation, it was a 2 window ban, reduced to 1 window, they had 69 breaches of the rules over numerous seasons. They took the piss TBF.

If those figures are correct we could pay Walsh upto 10k a week (3 year contract) and it'll cost us no more then the sheaf transfer. Assuming 5k wages and 750k transfer fee.

Chelsea were under an embargo for 18 months or so? What happened there?

Makes sense, you would be able to do everything but be given clearance to register him, dont most transfers actually come with a *, subject to fa/EFL approval kind of thing?

I think the club would have mentioned it one way or the other, tbf, the initial announcement of his signing only say it's an option and not an obligation.

I did look at it myself but the returns seem crazy, almost too good to be true. Kraken have some listed with 20% returns.

I'm not sure exactly how it works with players leaving to go on most likely reduced contracts, but I agree that any business for the 'deadwood' will be more about saving money then creating it.

Pritty much as expected but surprised with Wilson getting an extension, must be happy to be number 2 behind a new keeper. Not sure anyone will be paying any money for the likes of Shipley, Allen or Marosi. Think we'll offer them out for free to clear the wage bill.

Walker, superb technique to keep over the bouncing ball and bury it in the bottom corner. Great finish.

    Player of the season vote

Voted Osti, was immense for large parts of the season, be between him and O'Hare, either are deserved winners this year.
