    Investment on the Horizon?

going to depend on what was in the contracts isn't it ....... we don't know any possible trigger points so it cant be entirely discounted. Even given the final league position or periods of under performance

    Fisher on talksport

Fisher from his perspective has to emphasise the banning of fans. He knows damn well the reaction he will get. - he is trying to stop future pitch invasions - he is trying to show the EFL that he is taking action -he is trying to mitigate any up coming fine - he is saying to everyone that there...

    Welcome the messiah.. Russell Slade

Messiah ? No pressure or expectation then ;). A decent choice and good luck to him. I hope he makes the difference. He has the same tools as Venus at the moment so will be interesting to see who he can get in First target is safety, avoiding relegation. Have no confidence in their being money...

    Investment on the Horizon?

average L1 salary is 69500 pa for a squad of 25 that equates to £1.74m (that's well below our SCMP budget). Then there are performance bonuses to add in. Then add manager and his immediate support team like Venus & Clapham, I doubt you will get much change out of £500k. Fisher said that they...

    Investment on the Horizon?

As I have been referred to again about the contents of the accounts a few comments. - what I said is that from the only published information we have (the filed accounts) there is no evidence of management charges, misappropriation etc. That doesn't mean there couldn't be but there is nothing...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

So if it is such a risk or bad idea why are the club looking at a joint venture to do such things at BPA. Crfc will want their costs covered before profits are split. It might be belated but if it's true I view it as something positive A joint venture spreads the risk/loss potential but it also...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

It is but for the last few years how would they know. It doesn't have to at the ricoh or on the basis offered there. They have done less and less each year because of the cost cutting. Can anyone honestly say Ccfc have a vibrant, really active innovative commercial department.? - or is the...

    Investment on the Horizon?

Would seem we were certainly short of cash. However the short term loan would not rectify the SCMP. It was the sale of Madison and the actual cash received in the year to 31/05/16 that did that. The loan wouldn't count for SCMP

    Investment on the Horizon?

The SCMP doesn't include loans. An injection of capital has to be outright gift or the issue of shares for cash. The SCMP includes more than players wages, it includes any agents fees, transfer fees in and out, all other employment costs. On the other side any incomes included are net of any...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

having a 23 day per year agreement at the stadium does not exclude or prevent putting on other events at the Ricoh or another venue............ the refusal/reluctance/inability to spend hard cash does. Given they have reduced turnover by their own decisions (franchise of shop & programmes) then...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

Walsall turnover 2015 5.6m CCFC 4.8m ....... Walsall 2016 6.5m we haven't got the 2016 figures for CCFC so don't actually know, although Fisher seemed to indicate a decline. However a couple of comments on the Walsall figures - 2015 they reached the JPT final and that is going to have improved...

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

Doesn't matter if they got a share the lease appears as part of the crfc group accounts because they own 51%. What would appear in the Ccfc accounts would be the value of the investment that would have to be restated at fair value each year....... that could be an assessment of the income...

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

What is clear is that crfc will control the lease will have 51% of the shares and therefore the head lease will form part of their business no one else's.

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

But Ccfc and Sisu have to deal with what is. To make Ccfc as attractive as possible. For them to not source the potential for other income damages the team, the brand, and the investment. It lowers not raises the perception of the club, breaks links with fans, especially the business community...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

So do what is suggested at BPA develop income streams elsewhere. Short term facility hire. Hell buy or build something brand it sky blue and have something to sell. They are in a rut with their thinking.... inflexible because of the arrogance of my way or no way. - which is probably the biggest...

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

I think what started as let's starve ACL of income to aide their demise it won't take long ...... led to resource and people at the club being lost, relationships and goodwill being lost..... which led to an inability to exploit opportunities..... and as costs were cut against falling income it...

What do you think will happen january sales??

January. We get a number of players in on loan including some loans renewed. Nearly all have little experience, it's cheaper that way. The squad needs 5 or 6 games to bed in and lacks confidence........ by which time shit its March..... panic.
  18. oldskyblue58

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

Ccfc staying at the ricoh, assuming a reasonable rent deal does not kill Ccfc....... staying under Sisu might because of the toxicity of their relationship with almost everyone (including the fans) on anything fundamental or strategic. What staying will do is put a glass ceiling on the maximum...

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

Sharp isn't going to rule anything out. Why should he, it is best to keep options open for crfc not close doors. The article points to a ground share not happening any time soon. In deed it would seem any planning of the project is hardly off the ground at all.. next season crfc Coventry bears...

BPA & City ground share unlikely?

It is and he has outlined that in the CT........ unsurprisingly it doesn't seem to match the assumptions made on here, or by the media or by the hints from fisher
