What this transfer window tells you

Did anyone else get the impression that aside from the willy waving going on (we this, we that, the implied told you so we know best etc ) that Mr Reid became a way of managing fans expectation for the club? The bottom line was that very little actually seemed to happen. It was built up and let...

    Michael Folivi

Not doubting their ability but more how they receive the ball from the rest of the team. Do you see them being able to win enough ball if it is just lumped forward

What this transfer window tells you

tells me we have pretty much that to save us we have the same squad that has taken 2 points out of 21 under Slade. Yes we retained the family silverware such as it is (Stevenson, Harries, Willis etc) but what has or can change about how the squad can go forward. Good luck to Folivi but it is...

    Michael Folivi

I hope the lad does well, got to give him a chance before people go writing him off. Would think Slade will have to concentrate on playing to him rather than just lumping the ball forward, the lad is going to be coming up against some physically strong & demanding defenders in L1 It does...

    What's happened to Mark venus?

Mark only does football ........ but SISU & Fisher don't do football, and football finance even worse - they don't really care for it ........ so Mark is surplus to requirements, spending time marking out where the first footings will be dug somewhere around Ryton allegedly :angelic::angelic:

    Rather humbled

Think you will find it took a lot more than standing in front of the Kings horse, but that action got a nation and in particular the establishment to take interest for a moment and could not be so easily dismissed. What got women the vote was tireless campaigning over a long period of time that...

    Rather humbled

ok, can understand and accept the frustrations and that the heart ruled the head, they acted off the cuff (not sure how smoke bombs can be a spontaneous thing at a football match) but I have questions - What was actually perceived by the wider public as the purpose of the pitch invasion by 7...

It's all gone quiet over there - Transfers...

on the one hand it is good to see the club holding out for their valuation of players ........ but it is still a gamble that could go horribly wrong ....... I would guess they will need the sale money to get through the summer especially if season ticket sales crash ........ if they end up...

    Worth more liquidated?

The charge comes in before the Preference share rights fp The pref shares would get what was left after that then the ordinary shares after that There is a fixed and floating charge over all assets including Ryton in favour of ARVO dated 30-12-2013. The fixed part is over the freehold and...

    Worth more liquidated?

I think anyone coming in would do it via a new company, would buy the assets as they are currently used and have to take on the football creditors. That net price is not going to be much. Ryton might be worth £8m with planning permission but it isn't worth £8m if your only interest is buying...

    Worth more liquidated?

yes but my guess is that SISU/ARVO might seek to argue that the right to those future payments become ARVO's by virtue of the debenture. Would be up to the FA/FL to decide whether they continue or perish with liquidation...... and then the courts all academic really and frankly...

    Worth more liquidated?

The club, which is currently otium, still has massive debts that remain larger than the total assets even if Ryton were valued at 8m so the value of the present set up is still £nil

    Worth more liquidated?

made the same point a couple weeks back CD. SISU do not need to go to administration what purpose would it serve them? If CCFC liquidated then ARVO sweep up all the assets including Ryton probably at a low value (creating losses) and can sit on Ryton until they (a) get use changed/accepted (b)...

    Idiots

As for sharing responsibility well you could argue that all three of the above do (CCFC/TRUST/JHW). However none planned or encouraged illegal behaviour and at some point personal responsibility has to step in. If you are going to apportion blame to the Trust or JHW then those participating in...

    Idiots

Cheers CVD. Think it is important that the unemotional facts are focused on. What happened yesterday will be used by the owners directors and certain media to discredit the fans protests and the organisations behind them. It will help them keep opposition to Sisu divided and to ignore any...
