No I wouldn't have sacked him. Don't think we were there yet.
But I have has a feeling all season this one would be the end and that he'd lost his way. Gutted that it's come to this sad end though.
Perhaps not, but its difficult to see where the points come from based in what we've seen so far. Our points per game so far would see us on 49 points - which would likely see us relegated.
How many points do you think we will end up on, roughly?
Ref should yellow card every one of our players that tries to take 800 touches and amble round the centre circle like a pensioner trying to find his way to the pub toilet after pissing himself.
Equally as infuriating is the throw in situation. Can't remember who was taking it but there was absolutely no movement whatsoever and thought he was just going to throw to a derby player out of frustration.
I did think the pile on was a bit premature and unfortunately seems like I was right and the two game turnaround was more of an anomaly.
There's still plenty of points to play for but it's going to be an uphill struggle with this team.
Today was excellent, far and away the best performance of the season.
Doesn't invalidate the concerns about how shit and unacceptable our season so far has been though.
Saw the first half of Luton- Sunderland last night.
So much energy from both teams, so much good movement into space and ability to find the pass, turn and get a shot off quickly. Players that seem to understand their roles.
The gulf between us and both of those teams is huge and I fear for us.
