It’s not though. Those who think Lampard is the second coming of Pep thought Robins was “finished” and we were in for an awful season so are amazed that we’re not still down the bottom. Those who thought the squad would generally perform at around the level the stats suggested they should be aren’t.

After his first few games we looked awful and weren’t getting results. Now at least we’re getting results.

And mine was it was a fairly normal start to a season that would have picked up to midtable. So it tracks that you’re happy with midtable and I’m a bit meh

He’s beaten several teams on terrible runs of form. He’s scraped a couple of close games against Bristol and QPR. First half against Watford aside I’m yet to come away from a game thinking we’ve played well tbh.

I mean everyone on here thought he was garbage we wouldn’t be able to give away and we got £1m for him so maybe he was underrated.

Government handover is very different in the US and the UK and being out of power four years is very different from being out of power 14 years. You can’t really plan 14 years ahead, especially when your plans are more than “let your rich mates do whatever they want”.
