I'm not listening to any more of this waffle from people who think they are in the know. So am waiting on Andy Turner's exclusive retained list instead.
Norwich (inevitably)
Villa (possibly)
Brighton (possibly)
Bournemouth (possibly)
Fulham
Derby
Birmingham
Sheff Wed
Forest
Middlesbrough
Qpr
Stoke
Blackburn
Bristol City
Leeds (who may go up)
Brentford (always in/around playoffs)
That's like a second Premier League and I may have missed out...
That Northampton away game was a real low point for me, no effort from a bunch of spineless morons, flares and fans on the pitch/constant interruptions to the game and an inevitable slide down to L2 without even a whimper.
The job that Robins and his team have done to turn our fortunes around...
One sided silly nonsense. 60-70’s “rivalry” was Wolves, 80’s and 90’s was Villa, 2000’s was Leicester and now it seems to be Sunderland more than anyone else. About time we made our mind up who our “rivals” are.
Looking forward to playing anyone in the Championship, be it Villa, Leeds, Sheff Wednesday, Birmingham, Forest, Derby, Millwall, Brentford et al.
We really do need to move on from this one sided Villa nonsense.
Yes, saw that aswell. Only trouble was the sound was obviously taken from various games etc and you could hear the ref blowing for fouls (on the sound) etc when the actual game on the pitch was continuing!
Indeed. Was talking about that on the way back from Ipswich. Not sure Sheff Wed v Coventry City would be as big a draw as say Sheff Wed v Leeds or Villa etc, so may be reflected in a lower away ticket for us.
Could I afford £40 if Leeds charged that for an away ticket? Fortunately yes, but I may...
Can’t say I agree with that. Just pricing out the average man again. Can’t say I was impressed (but can afford it fortunately) when Ipswich charged us £27-28 in March for L1. Far too much for that level and although we may be in a higher division next season I think £25 is plenty.
