Tbh I'd just like to watch football for the love of football, without politics getting involved, football should be about 90 minutes of self indulgence, of passion and enjoyment/heart break, can't we just have a 90 minute window without politics or religion or whatever poking it's nose in...

But it does highlight the absolute hypocrisy of it all. At the end of the day, money talks, and the games governing body will turn a blind eye to years of human rights abuses, if enough money is involved.

I think you've summed it up well. And I wouldn't listen too much to the BBC, they've become a very bizarre organisation. Maybe they should look at clearing out the nonces and abusers that appear to have infested them, rather than looking at footballs.

Thankfully the only opinion that matters was the ref's. I thought the ref was very brave to disallow the goal and 2 penalty appeals, many refs would of given the home team something. It's about time we had a decent ref.
