Why so many empty seats ?

That may be the case, but if i was the safety manager, i would want to know how many people were in the stadium!

Why so many empty seats ?

Real bugbear of mine - the "attendance" figure should be the number of people in the ground (which they can count at the speed of light by the turnstiles scanning barcodes on tickets and STs), NOT the number of seats they have sold.

Wilson had a poor game last night for Pittsburgh, and their D left Kelce uncovered far too much. Made it look easy for KC.

Hurts is only just re-learning how to be mobile again after his injury at the end of the regular season in 2022 - it has been on his mind ever since. I'm looking forward to the Steelers beating KC tomorrow! I think Goff's play action library is a thing of beauty - but Allen's mobility is off the...

Pickett didn't do too much wrong when he came in for Hurts, but it was a bad day for the Philly defense - it's been on the cards for a while. Luckily they only have to face the Cowboys then Giants so SHOULD finish 14-3, but they should have won last night!

    Germany *again*

I don't know about Broadgate, but there will be *some* measures in place. At Warwick Uni, the potential "crowded spaces" are designed in consultation with Counter-Terrorism police to reduce the possibility/impact of vehicle attacks. It's all very subtle but very effective, i understand.

    Germany *again*

Irrespective of the religious/ideological rabbit hole down which this thread has disappeared, it was a massive security cock-up by the German police. I was at a market in Northern France a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you, there is no way any vehicle attack was getting anywhere near...

    How is Aled Williams employed?

Agreed - of course, you have be made of certain "stuff" to want to be a keeper, like throwing yourself around and having footballs kicked at you very hard, and there will always be good shots, unlucky deflections and defenders going AWOL that you can't do much about, but there are things all of...

    Brad Collins

I think Aled Williams must be the weak link - he manages to turn "promising" new signings into no-hopers inside half a season. They can't do the basics right, so the coaching must be at fault. Probably spending too much time in training getting him to pass out from the back. Shame they are...

FTR, I am not laughing at you because you are in any way wrong, but the guillotining comment was genuinely funny!

    Manchester Airport Incident

Sorry, can i flag the elephant in the room here - independently verified CCTV footage shows a serving police officer kicking a prone member of the public (who was prone because he had been tasered) IN THE HEAD, and then stamping on his thigh. Am i the only person on here who thinks that is...

    Things that annoy you

I think it is about normal The annual vaccine is based on what was circulating in the southern hemisphere during our summer. It is always a bit of a punt and can't cope with new strains, but these appear less regularly than with coronaviruses, etc.

It does look like a bad flu season incoming. Hospitalisations on the rise and 4x what they are for Covid-19 at the moment.

That was always my favourite! It was always Leicester in the 80s, so all the more fitting that the original song was about paedophilia!!!

Pardon my ignorance, but what, then, is the definition of "cap" in this context?? "Something not to be exceeded" would be my guess. But as long as you are popular you can ride rough-shod over it???

I think Hurts has started to learn how to be more mobile, and it has improved the Eagles' offensive yards, but he does avoid contact of any kind due to him being worried about getting injured like he did 2 years ago. I was looking at the Head Coaches' pay deals earlier this week, and some of...

    The official NFL Thread

I was surprised to see the onside kick with so much left on the clock, but i guess they thought the Bills might have taken the same approach Philly did against Pittsburgh and just hold on the the ball and wind the clock down in the 4th.
