Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

So here's the thing. I've been diagnosed with mild pneumonia in the last few days - it proper sucks. But any time I see something about the demise of those parasite w&nkers and anyone connected to them trying to wriggle out the blame game - oh it makes me feel so much better. Wasps going bust...

BBC sports personality of the year

I mean, the 6 were chosen apparently by 'industry experts'. It's not that laughable - they obviously saw differently to you. Nice to see your an apparent Athletics fan though. See - you do have a redeeming feature ;-)

    That's why I said it's a bit grey.

Now this, I do agree with. Her Gold in the worlds was superb and a great achievment. It's all about grey isn't it, in terms of what you're voting for? You've said she's the best sports of the year but it's called sports personality of the year. I happen to think she's got a great personality as...

BBC sports personality of the year

I genuinely can't remember. I'm sure there was always been a number of options to vote for but I seem to remember it used to be more - maybe 10? Your second point doesn't stand up because there's been many people who've won as part of teams - Giggs, Beckham, Owen, Jonny Wilkinson, Kevin Keegan...

    Joey Barton is a wetwipe.

What do you mean restricted? As in they only got to choose from those 6? If so, who else would you have nominated for the public vote? And I don't see why they shouldn't be campaigning for anything.

Earps won it because the public voted for her... And anyway, why shouldn't the main national broadcaster continue to invest and campaign for womens football?

    M.Doyle new Woking FC manager

No way is he on that?!

To be fair, it was the general public who voted for the result, not the BBC.

    M.Doyle new Woking FC manager

To be fair, I was one of the those. Despite being two decent players, I just never got excited about the Doyles-Hughes partnership.

    M.Doyle new Woking FC manager

Couldn't find the ex player thread, so apologies. A few weeks after saying that I saw 'Doyler' in a hotel in Portsmouth and I didn't ask him for a photo because, well, I'm 43 years old, he's today been appointed manager of National League team Woking FC. Another team my business looks after...

    SBT Forum highlights 2023

Personal highlight - greeting the team at their hotels for the SF and Final. Especially the final. And when Hamers goal went in, wowzers. Forum highlight - GIMOC messaging me privately asking if there was an issue after I called him out for not being in the know on fixture release after he had...

    Are we too nice?

And also, more bookings ultimately leads to more suspensions. That's not a positive thing - especially for a squad like ours.

Match Thread Leeds United - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 16th Dec

Had we won last night, I would've said Saturday is somewhat of a free hit. Given we only took a point (which I would've taken before the game to be fair), I'm hoping for 3 but expecting 0-1.

    Leicester given 4500

To be fair, I'm sure Leicester men got a new training campus around that time as I was looking after Leicester women at that point and i know they were going to be getting the mens old training facilities so it could well be true. Using it for a bit whilst the new one was finished off etc. That...

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Wednesday 13th Dec

Having worked in both cities for a number of years, I can also add that Southampton seem to hate Pompey more than Pompey hates Southampton. Although Pompey has it's shady areas (like everywhere really), it's a much nicer city than Southampton. And Southampton folk are just weird.
