    Errors Leading To Goals

If it had been played back with a bit more pace on it, it wouldn't have been a problem. It would have got to Wilson on the edge of his area and he could have hoofed it into touch as per normal! Malenda wouldn't have got anywhere near it. I wonder if Wilson called for it.

I'm guessing they mean in all three divisions, not just us and Brizzle!

Our Problem This Season Has Been Cheap Goals

I guess Luton fans are being milked to pay for the best stadium in League 1 - but how in the hell are they made to pay more than us for watching games from a cowshed. That said ... F*ck 'em!

    Louis Theroux settler documentary

Fuck me, yes ... i was in Jerusalem a while back, and seeing the adolescent girls of the IDF wandering the streets with automatic weapons, as if on a night out, was frankly terrifying!

Playoff Semi Final 1st Leg Bristol City - Sheffield Utd 08/05/25 8pm ko

Whenever we try and frustrate teams (e.g. when defending a 1 goal lead), we always seem to end up making a fatal error and cocking it all up.

Playoff Semi Final 1st Leg Bristol City - Sheffield Utd 08/05/25 8pm ko

Playing to the laws of the game is not a technicality!

    Taskmaster

I might pick it back up based on this. I have dipped on the last couple of series. All seemed a bit flat and formulaic with Greg's mates and Dave-level comedians. And after the heights of Victoria Coren!

    Champions League 24/25

The annoying thing is that they will both consider that they have had a successful season on the back of this. That said, we thought winning the Checkatrade was a success despite being relegated to the fourth tier for the first time in our history a couple of weeks later!

    Champions League 24/25

Arteta reckons "100%, Arsenal are the best team in this competition" AFTER they have been dumped out 3-1! He clearly hasn't watched any of the other games! Twat!

Playoff Semi Final 1st Leg Bristol City - Sheffield Utd 08/05/25 8pm ko

Bristol City are a nicer club and set of fans than the Blades, who i despise with a passion! I would prefer them in the Final, as i think we have a better chance of beating them and would mind less if we didn't.

    Womens football

I doubt that the figure is as low as that. We have some very good friends who are parents to a trans-woman. She plays football for her University's women's team, and i understand she is not the only trans-woman in the side. I assume it is a generational thing (i hesitate to use the term "fad")...

... until and unless that court's decision is appealed to a higher court (including the Supreme Court). However, it would be a brave judge in a minor court who contradicted the rule of the Supreme Court, and an idiot prosecutor or defence barrister who didn't capitalise on the ruling. The...

    Sunderland AFC

I think the jury will need to still be out on that, until he goes totally OTT when they next beat a bang average side (not us, by the way) and proclaims them European Champions! That will flag him as a potential honorary SBA member!

    Things that annoy you

I remember a Jack Dee joke on those lines from a few years ago (when comedy was funny) ... At the till, with a full trolley, i saw the woman behind me with a basket with three items in. I asked her if that's all she had, and she said "Yes". I said "Well you might as well piss off and find...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

With 4 councils to finally declare, Labour have lost two-thirds of their councillors (down by 168 to 82). They haven't lost any because they lost most of them in 2021. They lost Durham to NOC in 2021, but were still by far the biggest group. They are now down to 4 councillors.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Labour losing seats hand over fist to Reform almost as much as the Tories are in county councils. Lost 30 seats in Durham, FFS! Durham, Derbyshire and Staffs all now Reform. There are going to be some bloody grim times ahead - not simply because their politics are diametrically opposed to...
