I’m not blaming him at all. I think he should have started the game tbh. He lacks the desire to press / defend from the front when that’s what we needed at that point in the game. I’m unsure that we needed two pressing forwards to start the game with; said as much in the match thread!

Realistically though, concede two goals away from home and you’re going to lose an away game most of the time. I do agree the quality of the forward line yesterday was an issue as well though.

Second half yesterday we looked like Oxford did against us at home earlier this season. Really poor ball retention and Norwich looked a cut above. Can’t fathom what the score would have been had Collins been in goal!

I get that it can be. But when you’re 1-0 up with only 20 mins left you need to defend from the front and he didn’t put anywhere near enough effort in with that today. As much as the other two were devoid of any real quality, they did that.

Think he’s got some decent personal qualities and was disappointed he did that. Unfortunately, he is a walking mistake. He’s slow, has poor control, a poor first touch and is completely not press resistant. He is less exposed as a CB than he is at RB, so I think he can get away with those...
