It’s that if that gives me pause. History tells me its more likely to be cancelled out next month than compounded.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well that’s my point really. Govt should be looking at 5-10 year trends and making decisions and budgets based on that, not chopping and changing with the wind. Though I accept a major event like Covid or Trump changes things.

So many point do you think we need to confirm a play off place ?

Draw with Boro at home? Nah we always beat them. Like Sunderland.

All just noise around 0% isn’t it? Up 0.5 we are all happy down 0.5 and we have to sacrifice a few disabled people to the market gods. All seems so arbitrary.

    Jack Rudoni

Simms took one off him with a toe poke to BTA. But then one of his is a 50:50 challenge that fell to Eccles so swings and roundabouts.

Think we’ll go same again bar Sheaf for Torp and I’m fine with that. I think the work needs to be done on patterns in training not by dropping anyone really. Need to work on how Sheaf and Haji work in this setup.

I think inverted wingers works anyway. Saka is mostly left footed.

Hamer was much more than goal contributions though. He played DM for most of his City career.

Not a huge amount considering he’s playing left wing. I like Weight out left, I like a driven low cross, I just think Lampard sees him differently. Even when Simms has come on Wright has tended to stay at CF.

Seems a bit nitpicky for a striker who scores every other game, but when he shows he can do it like that… it’s a bit like when you felt Vik could have had 40 if he just tightened up his finishing … or moved to Portugal.

Rudoni joint top assists with two fewer games than the other two. Impressive.

Id wager most weren’t your traditional crosses into a header that Lampard seems to want. EMC for all his faults is better at that and Wright is probably better in the box on the end of them.

Other than Rudoni and sometimes Saka we lack real quality into the box, and both of them are best cutting in from the right. One reason I think Wright won’t go wide left is he’s probably among the worse for delivery into the box.

Mentality is built on easy clean sheets and being thrown into the home fans after a win tho. Wilson has taken on mackem Buffon levels of mythology since his injury but is and has been second and third choice for a reason. Just got to hope Collins can dust himself off, the squad and management...
