That’s my worry, we will have a drunk nation for the first week, A&E will be full of injuries through pissed up people then everyone back in cars. Holidays will go through the roof too
Pollution down massively, no litter in the streets, people eating healthily, people exercising but will it all go back to ‘normal’ when this is over? It’s like it’s been a detox for the earth which was clearly needed but could it go the other way with businesses trying to make up for lost time...
Had not drank prior to getting ill and not done since so in total probably about 5 weeks at least. Illness made me drop half a stone but be building back up on the bike. Did a quick 30 yesterday and off to do the same this morning, quiet roads, no one about, it’s great!
Stay your distance and you should be okay. Went to the park with the kids about 6.30pm and there was groups of lads sitting around, 4 lads were playing football (we couldn’t work out if they were uni students so in the same house) but no one had masks or anything. Clearly taking the piss...
We went for a walk about 3 today around the park, it was like the whole world has just started training for the London marathon! Let’s hope this positive exercise continues with people
We did it with the kids and my mum is a nurse at university hospital albeit we find calling her easier! It was a great gesture but agree it then turned into a ‘look what I’m doing, aren’t I great’ shitshow on Facebook
Well it’s been 14 days, woken up and feel brighter today. Pain is slowly subsiding, cough and breathing much better but still feel it kicking around not letting go. Hopefully in a few days it will out of my system. Not a pleasant experience!
I agree we have seen how quickly this has happened over a 3 week period, if this thing was knocking around since January there would have been more cases/deaths
To be honest, had the flu numerous times and never lasted two weeks and this aggressive. Until I’m tested I will never know but just going by what 111 had said
