    Clingan out for 3 months

Thats his Cov career over. Something good has come out of today after all :)

Geoff Stelling rant about Spurs Press Officer

Anyone just see this on Sky Sports News? Was hilarious! Then he continued thinking he was off air but wasn't. Good job he didn't turn it into a Richard Keys / Andy Gray moment saying something he shouldn't! Was all about the Spurs Press Officer butting in in most questions at a Spurs press...

    Another poor official decision

Martin Atkinson just awarded Chelsea a 'goal' that never crossed the line. How many more poor decision will it take before goal line technology is brought in? This one was a diabolical decision! Never any doubt that it didn't cross the line! I think Atkinson deserves to be demoted after this...

    Ashley Young

Winning yet another penalty by diving. When are our referees going to get wise to it! They seem to have managed it with Suarez and his cheating, but Young does it every are and gets away with it!

    Ian Holloway

Says he was threatened with being arrested at today's game because his language was so blue! Now that's the type of manager everyone wants at their club. Some one with a bit of passion! Better than Andy 'too nicey-nicey' Thron that we have! Bet he's thrown some things round the dressing...

    Just seen the goals...

How poor we're they! Equaliser - yet again Murphy was more interested in appealing for something rather than gettin in with the game. And the second? Didn't we have 3 players behind Murphy, yet we still let it go in? Third was just as poor! Yet again, more schoolboy stuff costing us!

    Crawley V Bradford

Anyone see the brawl from last night? Not seen a fight on a football pitch like it in a long time! The ref must have loved that! And the Stewards who are supposed to be there for crowd control had new duties for the night!!

    Rock, paper, scissors

Was the way Macca and Clingan decided who was taking any own we may have got. Footballers have too much time on their hands me thinks :)

    Bigi

Made a decent return today IMO! Certainly played better whilst he was on the pitch. Loved his celebratory dance (well moving of the arms) at the full time whistle after pointing up to the skies where the big man is! Also just seen goals on SSN. And his celebration for the first goal was also...

    Great idea?!?

STRUGGLING Bulgarian club Kaliakra have decided to stop paying their players' wages after a run of defeats. Kaliakra suffered their 14th league defeat of the season when they were thrashed 4-0 at home by Chernomorets Burgas on Wednesday. The Kavarna-based club have not won a point in their...

    Jacob Mellis

Young Chelsea midfielder sacked for setting off a smoke bomb. But harsh IMO, considering they kept Ashley Cole on after he shot someone with an air rifle! He's only 21 so suppose they think it's easier to sack a young inexperienced lad who's less likely to sue them for unfair dismissal etc...

    Harry Redknapp

Been a bit naughty by playing Louis Saha today V Everton! Apparently made a 'gentlemans agreement' not to play him, similar to our arrangement with M'boro with Jutkiewicz. Only difference is Mowbray kept his word. Disappointing act there 'Arry!! Glad Everyon got the win :)

Clingans view on his penalty miss

Just read the CET match report and Clingan was questioned on his decision to take our penalty. It was interesting to read him say "....I was so confident I would score the penalty...." we'll I'm glad he was because I bet the majority of the travelling fans had little or no confidence in him! I...

Fisher - Not ruling out admin (alledgidly)

Cov-Mad reporting that Fisher hasnt ruled out us going into administration! Link to 'report' is below, but I did notice there were no quotes, so at the moment its only rumour: http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/fisher_refuses_to_rule_out_administration_732130/index.shtml

    England v Holland

What a nasty clash in run up to the 2nd goal. Brave challenge by both players. Wish them both a speedy recovery.

Ex Cov players that are now International manager

Mercia reported there are three ex City players who are managing Internationals tonight; Coleman and Pearce are the obvious ones but they also mention Michael O'Neil. Who is this guy? Anyone know? I don't recall us having a player by that name on our books?? Wiki says it was between 96 - 98...

    Wolves

I see they've given the managers job to McCarthy's old assistant. What a cop out!! They probably couldn't cope with further rejections to go with the list of rejections they've already got :)

    Herman

It appears Herman is going to be out for between 4-5 months! I personally think he should agree to end his contract as we're not likely to give hima new deal in the summer so there's no real reason for him to stick around. But then again, what footballer of today is likely to agree to do that...

    Pass back rule

When did this come into place? I recorded our 87 cup highlights on ESPN the other night and have just watched them. Being only 23 I wasn't here for the actual event and since then I've only ever seen the goals; never any of the rest of the match (might get to watch the whole thing one day)...
