    Match Thread Wycombe

Say what you like that Akinfenwa is a bloody awkward customer at 38 and about as mobile as a London bus but he’s so affective using his body strength to make things happen and yes mugs referees too but fair play to him.

    Match Thread Wycombe

Well that turned out to be tough, losing Kelly seemed to affect us but again it was our final ball letting us down a number of times second half we were that one decent pass from creating a good chance to score. I try not to criticise MR but his Bakayoko substitution baffles me what was his...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

I am optimistic fingers crossed Coventry could be tier 2 not so sure about Birmingham we’ll find out Monday I believe, our problem is we are sandwiched between Brum, Leicester and North Warwickshire.

    CCFC online store

You are correct. but isn’t this typical of how things like this are run at ccfc and the continuing lack of respect for ccfc supporters. I suspect like a lot of fans I am waiting delivery of two of the new shirts presents for grandkids ordered and paid for a couple of weeks ago I actually went...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

I think our problem could be even if fans are allowed into St Andrews will ours ? They, they being Birmingham council might frown upon 2000 travelling into Brum from outside the city at one time unacceptable, so I’m sceptical it will happen to be honest.

Draw best result but if anyone wins I hope it’s Wycombe, they will struggle whatever but we need Barnsley to get sucked into the mire too.

    Match Thread Luton

Just a poor game from both teams, only thing that was good about was another clean sheet, not saying this as an excuse but the pitch looked horrible to play on. Thankfully I haven’t travelled 20 odd miles on a shitty wet Tuesday and paid 25 quid to watch it.

    Blues fold Academy

I think Cov get about £500k+ a year from EFL or the FA and ccfc match it. I know Richard Overson sponsors the Acadamy whether that’s on top not sure.

    Blues fold Academy

Not directly I was giving an example where academies work should have explained more he was at Cov until being released at o14, then went to Oadby before being picked up by Sheffield United then moved to Brum, but he is an Acadamy product and imo makes the Birmingham decision a daft one.

    Blues fold Academy

Strange decision really apart from Bellingham they sold Che Adams, who we let go at 14, a year or so ago for around £15mill. those two deals show the Acadamy works, I think Brum have a strange owner and despite those huge two transfer fees I don’t think their finances are that good. I think we...

    Hamer

Blame chairman Bryan Richardson for that. Dion just looked after himself after Richardson tried to flog him to Blackburn, take it from me Dion would have stayed here.

Who remembers around 1970 time Stoke 0 Cov 3, three headers all outside the box two from Tony Hateley and the other Neil Martin and the goalkeeper....England’s Gordon Banks no less, arguably best in the world at the time.

Match Thread FA Youth Cup v Southampton

Last year ccfc were ninth in a table of teams who have produced the most professional players playing currently obviously not all prem players, but that’s a decent record

Next time someone mentions Marxism to you for or anti ask them what it means or stands for. I’ll guarantee they won’t know.

    Ben Wilson

Amazing isn’t it football fans, through an injury a player, a goalkeeper, comes into the team that was lets be honest doing just enough to keep out of the drop zone has one of the worst defence records in the division he let’s in just two penalties one a joke the other a maybe maybe not, helps...

    Match Thread Luton

We are slowly but surely building up momentum after an iffy start we have almost a fully fit squad injury wise, we look physically fitter, we have Kelly back, we have options on team selection and how we set up and crucial players hitting form I’m more than hopeful this will continue v Luton...

Biamou still has lots to offer

Played well today and brings another option and dimension to the team whether he starts or comes on as a sub, he’s a handful for defences, good in the air probably could and should have two or three more goals to his tally but that shows he’s getting in the position to score. From where he has...
