Council meeting for Mark and I

All abide by eu verdict...... could cost wasps millions sisu nothing (even if it goes against them) so I don't see that happening unless we have the verdict first and sisu lose Wouldnt part of the argument be wasps helped damage ccfc ? Wasps need to draw a line under the risk now not leave...

Council meeting for Mark and I

just my opinion but I have never thought ccfc were coming back to the Ricoh whilst wasps owned it. Too many hurdles deliberately placed in the way As ccfc fans we now have focus and put pressure on ensuring sisu follow through on a new stadium ...... and quickly no more smoke and mirrors

Council meeting for Mark and I

so there are two points of solution it would seem 1 wasps bite the bullet accept the risk to their business and no longer require the indemnity on all future legal actions from now against ccc Or 2 sisu confirm in a legally binding document that they will take as of today no future legal...

Council meeting for Mark and I

a 2+2 year deal really would not carry much value. Essentially you are valuing the worth of two years and an even smaller uplift for the option of an even smaller amount. Annual rental 100k and only 50% of that "relates " to ccc Isnt the eu case essentially about the value of the 250 year lease...

Council meeting for Mark and I

Yep, have always said don't just take at face value and look behind to see if things make sense. The sisu statements painted a particular picture it was never intended to be the full bare truth

Council meeting for Mark and I

as to the "guarantees " given by Council on the sale I have always believed that to be nothing more than political speak dressing things with a positive spin because the deal was happening anyway I cannot see how such an open ended clause to guarantee ccfc always having an option at the ricoh...

Council meeting for Mark and I

Well if you believe the public utterances then that is a reasonable conclusion Except that she would get more for her investors by simply selling the club of course

Council meeting for Mark and I

That would be my understanding too mark Ccc don't need to be involved for wasps to require an indemnity for all action against ccc and the ricoh sale/lease to stop. As long as there are options to take further legal action or process the threat hangs over wasps which makes future financing fir...

    Ricoh

I agree. The road and VLR are put forward as part of the partnership proposal but the reality it isnt something that is in control of the uni let alone ccfc/sisu. The timing and financing of those elements are nothing to do with the partnership proposal and will happen whether or not there is a...

    Ricoh

December 2012 fisher tells acl ccfc will build their own stadium. January 2014 whilst playing in Northampton announce interest in building a stadium in Exhall. Efl need to know there is a plan to return? Artists impression released. April 2016 ccfc say talks taking place with butts Park arena...

    So now we know

interesting. A little more clarity Neither side out right lied or told the whole truth. Quelle surprise. I also believe there is a time limit of 6 years for any civil court case. a claim against ccc would run out by end of this year In that case I would guess. I assume wasps would be...

    St Andrew's it is then

Think that was the second element to it but only PR because I feel they have known for sometime ccfc would be at st Andrews. They had to prove they were trying to get back short term and long term to the efl. Just my opinion

The positives – Had time to reflect as not the end of the world

Can certainly understand the thinking Only thing I would say is that either side can appeal the EU decision so I fear that element is nowhere near over

    Wasps Statement

Any statement needs to challenged by linking up the known facts (not opinion) that are already out there. It should never be taken in isolation. Have to try as best can to keep an open but enquiring mind not just accept face value or accept what is said because that is what we want to hear

    Wasps Statement

Not saying what sisu put out was not factual only that they carefully selected to do most good to their recital of history.

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Just to give an idea of potential timelines There is an article by les Reidi n October 2019 that suggests the Stoneleigh link to the uni will not be completed before 2024 if all goes well. There were already delays he says Also the building now going on at the uni formed part of the 2009...

    Wasps Statement

I think this statement is a reflection of the style of the new wasps ceo Stephen Vaughan. It would be him doing the negotiation not Eastwood. From what I understand the guy is very sharp. It does raise questions and doubts. It was intended to, but is a holding action intended to take a little...

    St Andrew's it is then

It was sanctioned for 3 years so long as they could prove progress and would be reviewed annually by the efl
