    Just Read This

I think the author, Marshall Stewart, died recently. My copy is falling apart too.

Moving my season ticket seat to sit with friends for 1 game

I’ve had to do that in the past too. It seems really unfair that no account is taken of the fact that you have already paid once for the seat.

    Matchday Rewind Aston Villa 1 - 0 Coventry City | Sat, 25 Aug, 1984

I’m more concerned that whenever I try to watch I’m told to log in to my YouTube account.

I’ve looked a few times but I’ve not seen Liam Kelly featuring for Rotherham, not even on the bench. Assuming he must be injured?

    Jamie allen

Robins played him regularly when he was fit including this season

    Jamie allen

Man of the match for me.It is always mentioned that he is full of energy which is true. However I think that in a way this is a back handed compliment. It is a comment that disregards his footballing attributes. He is a really good footballer, good first touch, good passing range and quick feet...

Kai Andrews - Wales call up

I mentioned on here before that I saw him play in the preseason friendly at Stevenage. Okay, it was a friendly and was against League One opposition but he had a stand out game. I was sure he would be featuring in the team this season and was surprised that neither Robins or Lampard chose to use...

    Championship thread 24/25!

Sorry to be a pedant. Portsmouth came up last season, Plymouth the year before.

Manchester United fans in WT 92/93

That’s the only game I can remember that happening. There were games where there were Utd fans in the West End (before the all seater days there were occasions when the West End was segregated into home and away fans) but on this day there were United fans all over the place. We had season...

    The dom hyam sale

I agree. A good solid player sold way too cheaply.

    Ellis simms

Unintelligent response, but your opening line is boo hoo? He is absolutely clueless and there is no debate about it? Why is there no debate? Because what you say is absolute and must not be challenged? No point in having a forum then is there? We should just read your proclamations and accept...

    Ellis simms

Yes he was a crap manager. Only two promotions, four Wembley appearances an FA Cup semi final, a play off final and a cup win. Absolutely clueless.

    Sheffield Wednesday at it again

My son is talking about taking my nine year old granddaughter to her first away game. She has a season ticket and is just starting to get into the game. We sit in Block 20 and we are generally surrounded by fairly decent people. I’m not sure that letting her see some of the behaviour that occurs...

    Ex Player Watch

I think like a lot of footballers, he has been suffering with dementia. Being a centre forward, who also played centre half for us, he must have headed the ball countless times. A really good player who we were mad to let go. Had a great career at Sheff. Utd but particularly at Newcastle playing...

I think Jacob Murphy was the best City player I have seen (I know he was on loan) in one on one goal scoring situations with the keeper. Very cool and calm for such a young player when he was here.

    Road closures

That’s where we park. Parked on the double yellow lines at the bottom of the road for the Leeds game, luckily no ticket. There was a huge number of lorries in there on Wednesday night which cut down on the places to park.

    Jamie Allen nomination

Yes, I was surprised it was Allen who made way for Grimes and not Torp. I thought he was having much more impact on the game, particularly at the start of the second half. I thought Torp had a poor game against Leeds and I’m still not convinced on his contribution to the team.

    Throw- ins

This drives me up the wall. Almost every throw in that we have in the opposition half is thrown backwards. This often results in the ball being played back to the keeper who will frequently pump it forward where we will have a good chance of losing possession. I’ve seen this happen even when...
