Yeah absolutely but it's certainly not unusual for football. It's why you often don't see managers jumping straight into other jobs as they're instead happy to be paid off by the previous employer.

Given the source it's probably bullshit but it's not out of the realms of possibility. Actively applying for other jobs would usually break the terms of a settlement agreement & thus reduce compensation from us.

Robins identified this in fairness to him. We failed to get the players in he wanted to fill that gap.

Underperformance, lack of confidence or confusion over tactics etc. are always mistaken for lack of desire by fans, it's very rarely the case.

Yeah, it backfired badly though. We looked an absolute mess & the players had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. MVE constantly running down blind alleys with nobody in front of him & then losing the ball was a particular highlight. If that's what our "elite tactician" cooked up for...

The problem with Rudoni is he doesn't find those spaces & take up dangerous positions often enough. Look at the difference Colwill made when he came on for Cardiff. Yes, in terms of ability he's a step up on Rudoni, but it was the positions he was taking up that caused us no end of problems...

Yep, I don't mind it not being given & I know that's what fans would like, but I guarantee 95% of referees would say that's a foul. Unfortunately, most fans just see "wins ball". The game has changed, the tackler is now directly responsible for his opponents welfare as well.

Exactly, Cardiff are a very poor side. Had we turned in a performance like last week we'd have won comfortably. Instead we made some strange tactical decisions & the players just looked confused.

It was a lucky draw at home to a team that's lost 4 of their last 5 & only due to a highly dubious penalty. What new things did you see that gave cause for optimism?
