    Time for 4-4-2

Defensively a few teams transition into it but from an attacking sense, pretty much nobody & for good reason. Villa are the only ones I can think of that nominally line up in a 4-4-2 but in truth one of the forwards (usually Morgan Rogers) plays much deeper to give the extra man in midfield.

    Wright

We put him through the middle yesterday & then I don't think he even touched the ball again.

    Time for 4-4-2

Absolutely not. When we switched to a variant of it today we looked absolutely lost. It completely took Wright out of the game. We didn't have to worry about Norwich nullifying our threats, we did it to ourselves.

Fair enough, just that you presented something as a statistical fact which was provably false. No issues with opinions, I can see why some are a bit on the fence with him, a bit like they used to be with Sheaf.

    Palmer leaving

I think MR's final shred of patience with him was lost on Tuesday night. I highly doubt the sub for Rudoni on 90+3 mins was planned but Palmer seemed determined to give Oxford a lifeline in those last few minutes, constantly giving away possession in dangerous areas.

Why have you screenshotted it there I wonder...? 🙄 He clearly runs back at picks up the No.7 Placheta who was otherwise wide open for a cut back. The chance came from Torp losing the ball, MvE & Sakamoto both being caught up field & Torp unable to recover. To blame Eccles is ludicrous. At...

    Haji Wright

Utter nonsense. Has double the amount of Forward Passes as Backward & has created the most amount of open play chances in the team.

    Slowpoke RIP

Cat 2. Aiming to get up to Cat 1. After the introduction of EPPP, Brentford (and others) decided it simply wasn't in their interests to invest in developing young players only to have them poached by bigger clubs for a fraction of their true worth. As with pretty much everything in football...

    Philip Billing

In the last 24 hours we have had: - Oasis reforming after 15 years - CBS Arena confirmed in the new FC25 (FIFA) game - Cristiano Ronaldo actually scoring a free-kick Yet, somehow I find us signing Billing even more unlikely than all the above.

Is there any evidence of him actually reporting the BTA deal before the event or it becoming common knowledge on here?

Yeah on paper, looks a decent L1 side, there's a lot of talent there, unfortunately lots of injuries too.

    Victor Torp

I don't think pace is a massive issue, more the timing of runs etc. Toni Kroos was one of the best 8's in the world & has never been blessed with great pace. Matt O'Riley who just joined Brighton from Celtic for £25m is probably the best example. He was routinely rejected by clubs over a...
