So you think the equaliser was down to the ref & not our inadequacies?

Fairs, couldn't see anything wrong with that either. I meant those blaming him for the equaliser

How are we blaming the ref for that!? Horrific defending & bizarre subs to blame.

Pretty pleased first half. Comfortable Great to see Kitching firing those balls in to the forwards like I mentioned previously. How Lampard (or anyone) can have thought that Bassette offers more than Simms or even BTA at this stage in their careers is madness.

    Transfer Rumour Samuel Rak-Sakyi

Pulled out of the Chelsea v Morecambe game due to food poisoning.

    League cup semi final

That law doesn't apply for 2nd bookings.

Vale obviously much further on in his development & has first team experience out on loan, but we're obviously desperate for a ball winning 4 now with the Sheaf injury.

    Transfer Rumour Samuel Rak-Sakyi

"Regularly" He's played 105 minutes across their 6 European games, 86 of them in 1 game. When he's been with the U21s he's on the bench except for 1 start.

    Transfer Rumour Samuel Rak-Sakyi

He's a very talented young boy & will have an exciting career imo, but I really wouldn't expect too much at this stage. He's not even a regular starter for Chelsea U21s currently.

    Mason-Clark Appreciation Thread

Well that would be fair if any of it was actually true... Bassette only started 2 league games under Robins. 1st one he was subbed off & EMC came on & played LW. 2nd one we played a back 3 without wingers so not sure how EMC could play LW then. BTA has never started a game on the left wing...

    We look poor

1 good game in 9 (against the poorest opposition we've ever played at this level). He's gone from being out most consistent player to not even a guaranteed starter & when he has played he's been poor with the exception of that game vs Plymouth.

    Transfer Rumour Rob Holding

I don't think anyone has questioned his ability or pedigree, more the fact he hasn't played in almost 2 years.

Tbf, he has only played for them twice. Once in early November & then again about 3 weeks ago.

    Bassette myth

I know I'm in the minority here but I think BTA is a useful player & ideal as a pressing forward. His lack of technique badly lets him down as we've seen but he'll get into good positions & eventually score a few if he's given the time. Again, his lack of game time isn't helping him or us & he's...

    We look poor

I think people are looking for positives that aren't really there. Sheaf has been up & down all season (more down than up unfortunately) but Eccles has only fallen off a cliff since Lampard came in. We also actually have less successful crosses per game now than we did before Lampard. We...

Oggy named our greatest ever player.

In terms of longevity and legacy then you can't really argue. In terms of ability, he's not even our best ever goalkeeper.
