2000/01 home shirt wanted

About 10 years ago I gave a shedload of my old shirts to my nephews dating back to about 1990 there was a bout 12 in all including home, away and goalkeeper shirts. Wish I'd kept them to be honest (not that they'd fit me anymore)

    memories of highfield road

My other fondest memory of Highfield Road was in September 1988 when we beat Charlton 3-0 with a goal from Gary Bannister and a double from David Smith. The reason it's so special to me is beacuse it was the first Coventry game I went to. My old man rest his soul was born and bred Cleethorpes...

    memories of highfield road

My best memory of Highfield Road was December 1995 when we mullered Blackburn Rovers 5-0. I was a season ticket holder in the West Terrace at the time. There was snow on the ground and we used the orange ball. Blackburn were champions at the time and their squad included, (amongst others)...

AT saying Cody McDonald will be the league's top goalscorer next season

Andy you poor man, this season seems to have taken more of a toll on you than I thought. I'm sure there are pills you can take for your condition. The condition is called delusions of grandeur. Cody has done fcuk all since he pulled on a sky blue kit. What is it? 3 goals?, 2? We should...

    2000/01 home shirt wanted

I have one, Had it since the day it came out and the day after we got relegated, I went up to the city store in West Orchards as it was then, and had I 8 Villa printed on the back. That shirt is too precious to let go. There's money to be made in the retro footy shirt business these days.

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

I read the offending article on the CCFC website. Sep(tic)palla is merely waffling out the same old SISU scripted crapolla that's kept our heads in our toilets all season. Unless any of you know any billionaire Arab/Russian oil moguls, then we're well and truly going down the gurgler. There...

    Season Ticket

Putting the prices up after such an abysmal season especially as we don't know what league we'll be playing in come August is wrong. SISU are reasonable, (Sarcasm really being layered on with a trowel there). They should look at existing season ticket holders and say "Actually guys and gals...

    new sponsors!

I thought the whole point of renaming the stadium from the Ricoh to the City Of Coventry Stadium for the olympics was to remove sponsorship advertising, not merely to change it to something else. I suggest we change the names of the stands to big end 1 & 2 and short end 1 & 2.

    Watford Away

I'm going down on the coaches. It's only £15 and I would have spent a lot more than that getting there any other way. A bit bummed that I'm not going to be able to get a pint at their temperance toilet or have a cig at halftime. I guess I'll have to get full to the gills before 11:30. What...

    Nimmmeeelllyyy!!

He signed for man city in January 2008 on a four year deal. Based on that, she should be out of contract now anyway. My biggest concern is that we get quality players in on loan, do really well and see them go at the end of the season. Leaving us to start again with nothing...

You are a traitor if you buy a season ticket next year!

The traitors are the people who will bail. SISU may be w@nkers, but if the squad ain't got the fans then they've got nothing. Staying away from the ground will being about more expediantly the very thing we all fear the most. The death of Coventry City Football club. I for one, will bleed...
