Agreed. We definitely don't look knackered. Fitness levels have definitely improved on last year. As has squad size and rotation. It's just not clicked. Frank needs to sort the defence. I would go with MVE, Thomas, Kitching, Binks. 433, Dovin in goal.

Our forwards are quick, it would suit us to play quick counter attacks.

Am hoping Lampard plays a little more direct and encourages quick counter attacks. We were really good at that the play off season. He encouraged Chelsea to play that way. Are problems and poor form coincided with Robins trying to play more possession based football.

Well said. We desperately need to be made competitive and I believe Doug King has the vision and resources. I am looking forward to the future of CCFC. Robins and Vivesh were given the opportunity to manage this process and unfortunately weren't up to it. We move on.

I think Lampard will be good. Right man at the right time for him and us. Doug will back him and he is tatically aware (something we have been lacking) and the players will be motivated. Especially if he brings in Jody Morris
