    This beating will be harmful

Nothing disasterous about tonight at all. Judging from the radio commentary, we played with commitment and confidence throughout, and our fans sounded great. We ran out of steam later on, which reinforces doubts about our players' fitness, but if we can take the positives from tonight into our...

OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD NEWS : CET: Deal struck for half of the stadium with Higgs Trust

The nightmare scenario for me is that SISU manage to include their share of ACL in the debenture arrangement out in the Cayman Islands, that CCFC at some point run out of cash (as we are still losing money monthly and it appears this 50% share will not provide additional income in the...

    Sisu last desperate act ?

Maybe not a desperate act on SISU's part, but the timing of it makes me think it is a broader business decision, not just a footballing one. I think the driver to this comes from somewhere within ownership and stadium negotiations, so these will have to play out before we have a permanent...

    People who doubt Andy Thorn...

I was there, so a few observations to throw into the mix... - the possession stats I saw on BBC website (65 Yeovil, 35 Sky Blues) surprised me, as we had more than a third of the possession, probably close on a half. - Allowing for the fact that we had 6 debutants, and it was the first league...

Inflatables for Away Games? Remember the Man City fans with Banana's?

I've ordered a blue alien - ET's long-lost brother, CT. We're going to look like a right pair when we roll up in Yeovil, aren't we?

    trains to yeovil

Remember guys that Yeovil junction station is well outside Yeovil. AA route planner shows 5 miles from the station to the football ground. Doubt if there are any buses, so reckon on a taxi ride. See you there!

    Dorset Sky Blues

I am going with SkyBlueInDorset. Not sure about pre-match yet, but I'm a boring old fart who doesn't do booze so maybe we'll have a Dorset cream tea somewhere!! Inflatables are on the agenda though!

yeovil - loads of tickets left

Got mine by phone this afternoon, so we just need to arrange a meet-up for the Dorset Sky Blues supporters club. I've also got a ticket for the Men's Olympic football final the week before - bizarrely, I'm more excited by the Yeovil match!!

Sky Blue Membership and Sky Blues Player?

I've just taken out Membership Plus which includes SB Player, which would have cost me about 35 quid to renew anyway so it seems like good value as the freebies (fiver voucher for the shop, one half price ticket etc) cover the extra 15 quid. But the main reason for going to membership rather...

    Signings from rangers.

Quinton Young did not join us from Rangers though. I'm fairly sure it was Ayr United. He lived further up the Holyhead Road from me, had an impressive monkey puzzle tree in his front garden and caught the number 7 bus every day! He only scored a few goals for us but one of them was at Old...

The late early bird scheme is finished tomorrow

I have tried to convince myself to renew my season ticket but I have failed miserably. Partly because I am still hurting too much from last season, but also because all of the above actions/developments indicate to me a failing business which may have no intention of keeping going. The solitary...

Could SISU be winding CCFC down?

The latest statements from Waggott on the Offal about Financial Fair Play are relevant here: "Gross sales of tickets, both season tickets and match tickets, count towards so it is really important people buy season tickets and get behind the club and it has been great to see them doing that...

I wonder of any of the "bang bang bangs" will go elsewhere ?

A few posters have said the same as you TRS. I spent a while on the Football League website to find out more about this upcoming annual meeting but drew a blank, so does anyone have more information about whether something drastic - like being expelled - is a realistic possibility?

    Finance guesswork april 2012

Is there another way that SISU could be taking money out of the club? Like as management charges? Rather like private pensions, the value of which gets diluted so much by charges the intermediaries make for their services?

    The Believers movement.

I felt bad at the end of the Peterboro game, stunned that we had let it slip so near the end. But that was nothing compared to Monday - the first half went like a dream, both on the pitch and being part of the great SBA support, but as soon as they caught us cold after the break, it was only...

    Nerves Today

I'm sharing your nerves! This game is enormous, we simply cannot lose this one, there is so much at stake. I've no feeling for how it might go, but I'm sure this team will fight all the way. I"ll be leaving Dorset at 10.30 to get to the game, never been to Ashton Gate before so a bit nervous...

    protests still a good idea?

Remember that the guys who inhabit SISU HQ are city slickers who work London business hours, so they will not be there over a bank holiday weekend - cannot see much point in protesting outside an empty, and probably locked-down, building. Also, right now, our team need everything that we have...

LONGEST TRAVELLED CCFC FANS - examples ???

And a few more of us in neighbouring Dorset! For me, it is a 350 mile round trip from Swanage. I have missed just 3 home games so far this season. I'm so relieved we have started winning most of our home games - the A34 after a defeat makes for a miserable trip.
