    club statement

What utter tosh!! I think you're mistaking the conclusion of a legally binding agreement with the conclusion of a non legally binding contract. Invoices are raised all the time without agreement - hence the fact we have so many disputes.

    Even I must admit....

Correct - if Hartson had only come at Xmas, when I think it was first discussed but delayed on insurance grounds - I believe we'd have stayed up that season. I loved watching Keane in a city shirt but the offer was to good to refuse.

Paul Telfer on Sky Blues plight...

I was there also and thought it had more to do with a villa substitute? But then, I never rated Telfer so may have missed his impact.

    Even I must admit....

You've got to think, with a squad like that, the players hold some culpability. Surely, without any instruction, they should be capable of producing?

ACL Shoot themselves in the foot & The Fans in the Head

Did you enjoy writing that? Because (and to avoid any legal pitfalls) in my opinion, it came over like you're trying a little too hard.

    Rioch calls out Higgs/PWKH

I thought the same thing - I didn't want to say it for fear of being branded a SISU rent boy again! What did they do for £12k? Write off a tractor, damage 120 goal posts, rip 1200 playing vests? Seems a lot of money to me.

    Rioch calls out Higgs/PWKH

If that's correct, and Higgs are trying to be paid a bill due to ccfc limited, that is making them a preferred creditor and against the law. I'm sure the Higgs wouldn't do that.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

As one of the contracting parties it could be implied that his position is a little one sided. If his view is to be accepted without question than something really has gone amiss.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

I haven't played to a decent level but I did once play for a team that got a plumb cup tie against a non league club. When you've been run ragged for 90 minutes and hammered 8 - 0 you get a fair impression just how good you've got to be just to get to non league level.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

That's a very sad indictment - especially, now that we need good up and coming talent more than ever. Strange, I know where I live (I moved away from coventry 10 years ago) local coaches and teachers are seen as an active part of recruitment and actively encouraged to put forward any talent...

    JPT Final-if only

What defines a great club? Is ccfc a great club?

    PWKH bares his teeth.

I didn't defend SISU. Rather, I stated that I didn't believe ACL, and Higgs, are Lilly white in all this.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

You took me out of context - I wasn't accusing you of being one eyed. I was referring to your comment that a poster on here was.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

Having only been on the forum a couple of weeks I'll have to take your word on that person NLHWC. But, I fail to understand how anyone can be one sided on this. It seems to me that all the parties have been guilty to a greater, or lessor, extent.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

That's correct if you accept ACL tried to force administration for personally footballing reasons, or that ACL charged a ridiculous rent level purely for the good of the football club and it's fans. Of course, if you don't, you're a SISU lover, or SISU plant or a C-Unitt.

    PWKH bares his teeth.

Even more of a reason as to why his views can be challenged?
  17. S

    PWKH bares his teeth.

Because PWKH seems a decent bloke does that mean that someone cannot take issue with his statements? Baker seems a perfectly decent bloke to me - it doesn't stop prople on here criticising his football ability. Personally, I don't agree with PWKH's methods of publicising a dispute - that is...

Haskell to press ahead with takeover...

Is that correct? I'm not saying it isn't but I thought his obligation was to achieve the best deal for the creditors? And, in any case, if the most worthy buyer is Haskell it doesn't mean it's a good deal for ccfc.

Forest have made stranger managerial decisions in the past.
