    Ex Player Watch

We went there last summer - absolutely loved it. Totally frenetic, high volume, noisy and constantly on the edge but what a place. Also I’ve never seen such adoration for a footballer as they have for Maradona

    Gyokeres 25 mill + surely!!

Different types of players but the price is surely based on expected value to the buyer. We’re quite good at marking down Vik’s price based on missed chances, length of contract remaining etc.. If João Pedro brings £30m of value to Brighton what would Vik bring ? On that basis we would be...

    RIP OldSkyBlue58

What a beautiful post and a hugely emotional reminder of the power and togetherness of families. We are one Sky Blue family wherever we are in the world - forever. PUOSB

    Coventry Strikers

Remember Bobby Robson saying he wasn’t worth the money before we played them. Fergie scored 4 as we won 4-1

    Pub's now and then.

Me and my Uni mates loved that pub with its beer-stained pool table. We were there in 84-85 just before it closed for good and then finished the evening with a burger from Kev at Porky Pig on Far Gosford Street. Anybody else remember this place ? Best burgers for miles

    Coventry Strikers

Difficult to look beyond Fergie and the wonder of Wallace not least because they were such a well suited and prolific partnership. Not necessarily the best 2 players but what a partnership - with Dion on the bench of course just in case

    Old Time Violence

Sunday evenings is a real barrier - I went to Levante at home to Seville a few years ago and the game finished just before 2300 local time. Not the best time to be getting back to Seville from Valencia. I bought tickets at the gate for 20 Euros sitting behind the goal - great night out with the...

    Songs We No Longer Sing

What the hell was the wheelbarrow song all about ? Heard it for the first time at Highbury in the City end and thought I was still in an alcohol induced parallel universe from the night before

    Songs We No Longer Sing

When we sang 'We're proud of you, we're proud of you, we're proud of you, we're proud' during the Cup run in 87 that made my hairs stand on end

    Mark Robins

It's only the first 30k of a severance payment that can be made tax free though he may have a clause in his contract that gives him that amount net of tax but surely not. Even in this crazy industry that can't be right, can it ?

    Hamer breaking up play

Absolute quality in every respect. Top players always want the ball and he really wants the ball. Just as importantly his team mates trust him to give it to him in really tight spaces. He must be on other teams’ radars. Unbelievable energy
