Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

Why am I not doing what on GMK?

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

That is the point. The Trust should not be a protest organisation. For the Trust to prosper it needs to be positioned not to be a hard lined protest organisation. Why is any criticism of the Trust seen to negatively? Read the initial analysis. All I am doing is proposing a re-positioning.

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

I disagree with your point on the Trust being a battle they did not wish to attend. The reinvigorated Trust has strong Save Our City (SOC) links. The Trust re-started in the public domain in order to join this battle. Where you are close to being right is the Trust should NOT be involved with...

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

A number of GMK regulars are discussing going to the AGM on July 1st. All I am doing is discussing the value of the Trust. So are you saying the Trust have not made errors which have put them into a position where they cannot achieve their primary aim of gaining ownership of the football club.

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

I don't know who that other user is. Rarely come on here to be honest but have ventured over in pursuit of a fresh perspective. What is your concern with my presence?

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on what those successes or achievements have been thus far. I am a supporter of the Trust and I have tried to be constructively critical by holding them against their promises - the same expectations the Trust place on SISU.

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

All you are doing in mirroring the SISU - ACL argument. Which proves a point in itself. BOTH sides are at fault and have made errors. Yet the vocal majority of fans side with ACL.

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

The key part to Knowl's message is that this is a fresh start for SISU and ACL based on both sides admitting they need each other; at least in the short-term. Personally I am all for SISU taking Coventry City outside of Coventry for three short years of pain in order to return close to the...

Sky Blue Trust - A Critical Evaluation

Since the regeneration of the Sky Blue Trust what have the organisation achieved? They have increased their membership and if this were a business this would probably be their key performance indicator. They have certainly become more active and public compared to the previous directorship...

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

Where have I stated anyone will give SISU anything like that? In fact, the opening gambit questioned why a potential investor hasn't forced SISU into administration themselves via taking over the Ricoh. I suspect you are a tad thick.

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

I'm not sure i've seen any senior member of the Sky Blue Trust fully commit to their assertion that the investors waiting in the wings are willing and able to support Coventry City as owners. Which is worrying,

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

The Sky Blue Trust claim there are interested parties who want to invest significantly into the club and buy the arena. But why would a potential investor need to wait for SISU to go into admin to acquire the arena? Why not buy the Arena at the going rate along with the debt built up by SISU...

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

To reiterate Gary and co, I'm not looking for the identities of your sources or the alleged interested parties. I respect your position of trust.

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

Hi Gary, personal and past differences put to one side; can you please state whether the Trust are confident that these interested parties are willing and able to support the club? The pro-admin (anti-SISU) stance from the Trust is causing worry amongst the fans. I am looking for assurances...

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

I don't mean to sound petty, but are you confident that these watching parties are willing and able to launch a takeover bid. This is the crucial difference which is causing panic amongst the sky blue army and I don't think the Trust have so far calmed the situation.

Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

FAO of any senior Sky Blue Trust members - I am not expecting you to name names as I appreciate any insight you have received will have been given in confidence, but... .. can you please confirm that you are more than reasonably certain that there is a buyer waiting to purchase CCFC if the...

    Paul Tisdale

Have been told that Coventry won't be approaching anyone who is already at a club as they are happy with the application response they have received so far. There are apparently a few applications from Coaches at other clubs looking to make the step-up who have applied. With regards to...

Protest Photo Opp for Saturday, Season Ticket Application Forms

To reiterate, this is a demonstration action which is peaceful, can involve all fans who attend the game without forcing them to nail their colours to the SISU OUT mast. This would be cost effective to run as the paper material is already printed. This is something which can be organised in the...
