I think so. historically clubs who have tried to get off on a technicality have ended up getting a heavier punishment.

Maybe we should follow Cardiff's lead?

totally agree I've always hated our all Sky Blue kits and the lame Sky Blue Song. oh no now I've done it burn me at the stake. Our Dark blue/ lighter blue kits of the Boateng era were the best kits we've had in the last 20 years. Dont tell me the lighter blue stripe was sky blue because...

Are the fans partially to blame??

You'd better watch out, Tim Fisher is standing behind you with a gun.

If the FL agreed to this then it becomes very complicated. If they didn't we are going to get a heavier than normal pts deduction. I don't think SISU understand that the FL will change the rules as they see fit. Loop holes don't exist for long and if they are abused they tend to kick the crap...

    Potentially 4 interested parties

Acl/CCC order of priority:- 1. Make a profit 2. Grow exhibition/ concert part of business 3. Find new owner of CCFC who will further regenerate area for the council They only have the club at heart by default. They are a business who need to make money and need to regenerate the area...

    Does everyone agree?

Yes we need it but SISU will never get it so need to go. My question is will they let someone else have it for a reasonable price rather than trying to quadruple their money and without all the additional development conditions? I've got my doubts and IMO just having the Higgs share will...

    Or are fans the solution?

Perhaps we could get the drummer from King and one of lesser known ones from the Specials to give a fiver each.

    Or are fans the solution?

Absolutely, but if they hadn't been promoted?.. The point is they took a risk which is unfortunately what most clubs do if they actually want to be successful and I find them an odd model for the Trust to base ourselves on when they want to promote (rightly IMO) only spending what we've got.

    Or are fans the solution?

Yes Swansea made an £8m loss the year they got promoted. Is this the sustainable financial footing you talk about as it sounds like a typical club taking a risk on gaining promotion?

Are the fans partially to blame??

We averaged 18 - 20k for several years in the championship and barely made the top half of the league more than twice so your argument is flawed. You stated Leeds as an example of a club whose supporters stuck with them but they have always been a better supported club than us. They had an...

What i want to know to be able to pick my side

Very true and I also don't believe the council will part with their share to anyone for a reasonable price or without ridiculous additional land development demands.

It's very annoying, cutting off to listen to Jennings banging on about getting paid ffs.

The main crux of it for me, ignoring some of the waffle, is we need to own the ground and would the council and Higgs piss off if they got their money back? If they won't, and everything the council have said suggests they won't without a huge return, then they should be ashamed and who the...

    so ACL are distressing CCFC

That is a very simplistic view. My company was owed more than £100,000 by Ford Motor Company going back over 2 years. We did a deal in the end and never got a penny but we continue to trade with them now and they give us more than £500,000 per year. There is such a thing as cutting your nose...
