Just died. I never saw him play but I met him a couple of times. A real rarity in the boardroom, a highly intelligent person with great people skills who really understood football. He gave a lot to City over many years.

I think Robins might revert to his favourite formation of two defensive midfielders to stop leaking the goals. And by some logic peculiar only to me, I think that defensive move would allow us to sneak a one nil win against the run of play.

Agreed that this is the same troll as in the Telegraph. Trolls don't have opinions. They just say outrageous things to provoke a reaction. Only solution is to ignore them. They hate that.

I haven't seen any matches at that level but the standards in France fall pretty quickly. Division 2 contains many really weak teams. The reserve teams in the lower divisions often win their leagues but are banned from promotion. He was at a good club, Nice, but he didn't get in the first team.
