Prem clubs can afford not just the wages but the risk of the loss. At this early age its still a big gamble & the reality is that Div 1 clubs can't afford the money or the risk. Can't blame a young lad for wanting the best on offer.

What annoys me is that a lot of these sides are not really all that good but seem to be doing better than us with less resources. Blending younger players with experienced ones is one of the secrets I guess.

3 or 4 months ago losing his goals would have been the end of our season. But he could still come good if we can hang on to him.

Yeah I agree. Pace is what is missing from earlier in the season. We can all see it. A problem that wont solve itself.

As has been said before its not just the defeats, it the manner of the defeats that galls me. 100% effort & commitment are needed & these haven't been evident.

Without our good start to the season just think where we could be. Battling with Shrewsbury against relegation.

How many points to be safe ?
