Not really following this argument but are people getting confused between homegrown players (of which you need 8 in yours squad) and u21s (which don't count towards the 25 regardless of where they come from unless they are loans). So says 44.9 of the EFL handbook.

My understanding when we bought him was that he was destined for the u21s. Robins liked what he saw and we don't have great depth on the RW which has muddied the water since but the fact that he is now getting (literally) the odd minute suggests to me that he is making good progress.
