From what ive seen of John Parkin he is just another big Target man who can hold the ball up very well and cause defender problems because of his size, Didnt Platt do this last year? I thought the idea of bringin a striker in was to score goals, Really cant see this signing being an improvement...

I have a feeling that the plan is to sell Juke and Turner to replace with Parkin and Scotland/Macdonald, Which still leaves us in a position of having a very small squad with no depth.
