The club needs to hold the freehold.

Would be interested in why people believe this to be true. I cannot think of a single reason why freehold ownership would be necessary I also believe that the club will never hold the freehold under SISU. I recall Tim Fisher saying that it would probably be owned by another SISU subsidiary...

    Match fixing scandal

DJ Campbell has been arrested today for match fixing. In the papers yesterday, San Sodje was boasting that he has a network of players happy to take £70k for fixing. I am absolutely not accusing any Coventry player of involvement - There is no evidence of it taking place. However there were a...

2017/18 - Sky Blues start the season at a new ground just outside the city limits

Like several people on here I don't think this will happen, because I don't think SISU has any intention of building a new stadium - it is all just part of the emotional blackmail to try and steal the Ricoh from the taxpayers. However, let's assume that they do go ahead. Would you start...

    The Football League and Otium

I recently wrote to the FL asking if they would reconsider Otium as 'right and proper' owners in the light of the zero rent offer. I also put it to them that they were failing in their remit. This is the answer I received. Interesting that we could easily be expelled from the league within...

    I am a boorish narcissist

Well I am according to some of the dull fools on here. Well, if I am, answer me this then? How come I didn't look in the mirror until after 10:00 this morning? And how come it was after 11:00 before I first insulted someone? Ha! Well, if you earned over a million a year like I do, maybe you...

    Real Fan

I might start supporting Real now that Gareth Bale is playing there. After all, they don't play in Coventry...

    Bitch left me

Coventry City is like an ex girlfriend to me - a girlfriend I loved and who broke up with me. I'd love to have her back, but I really hope she has a miserable time whilst she's dating that other bloke in Northampton. I hope that every date ends badly, that all her friends desert her, that she's...

    SISU Finances explained

This is a very thorough investigation into SISU's financial management of the club. It highlights what a bunch of charlatans we have as owners. http://aprisonofmeasuredtime.wordpress.com/ I know nothing abut the writer, but isn't this exactly the kind of thing the useless hacks at the CET...

    Take me home, Highfield Road...

I welled up a bit when the crowd sang this today. I love Fratton Park, reminds me of Highfield Road. It was a dreadful decision to leave, it really was. And where is Richardson now, does he even look out for the results each week? I don't know how he sleeps.

    Next N games are huge

If we win our next N games, or at least get loads of goals and don't concede any, it will be huge for the club. We will be champions! But if we lose any I suspect we will go down. I'll be posting the same next week about the next M games.

    Moving on down

Currently sitting in 7th, within a hair's breadth of the playoffs. However, the games in hand come home to roost over the next two weeks - there are midweek games in which we make no appearance. Given that we have difficult games at Deepdale and Bramall Lane, we could find ourselves middling...

    March 2013

Look at our fixtures. Could make all the difference - giving the players something to fight for with the rather unpleasant April. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/coventry-city/fixtures

    Beautiful magic giraffe

If a beautiful magic giraffe went to the Ricoh and through his powers caused the entire club to disappear and not exist, would you support a different team like Shrewsbury or Yeovil? If so, who would you favourite player be?

    If we should be relegated...

It could be a good thing. Our squad is easily good enough to win loads of games in Div 2. We could go to all sorts of grounds we haven't been to before and see us stuff them by 10 goals every week.

    37%

According to the BBC website, with nine minutes to go, Coventry have enjoyed 37% of possession. 37%, at home, to a club that didn't even exist 10 years ago. Good Lord. It's tough being a Sky Blues supporter these last few years. "We'll have a punt" will we Bryan?

    Relegation form?

Now one point off the drop zone. Drawing the games we should win and losing those we should draw. Early days, but I think we can already see that we are likely to finish in the bottom half.

    League Two next?

It'd be fun wouldn't it? Many have fallen to League 1: Man City, Newcastle, Leeds, Saints, Norwich. But none have been so hardcore as to fall to League 2. And yet we may just do it. This would be a strong condemnation about the finances of footy were it to happen.

    Free fall?

They say the Championship is a difficult league to get out of. Well we seem to be doing it easily, but removing my tongue from my cheek... They are all difficult to get out of. You have to perform consistently well for nine months. You have to be in the top 15% of teams for that league...
