Yes I know we don't have to live our lives on here before any of the usual replies, but very unusual for someone so active normally.

Does anyone know him irl and is he ok?

I don’t blame him for taking a break, this place gets overwhelmingly negative when the going gets tough.

I've @Brighton Sky Blue a few times to no reply. I'm going to assume he's fine. I know his wife looks on here occasionally, I'm sure she'd have told us if anything bad had happened.

Thankfully, I have BSB contact details so dropped him a note to check in and he's fine, taking a break for while and will likely be back further down the line.

I don’t blame anyone staying off here after a few losses. It’s such an unnecessarily hostile place at the best of times, never mind when we lose and people can’t control their emotions.

I have made a conscious effort to just not engage in arguments or point scoring recently. End of the day, who cares if you were proved right / wrong about a players ability etc. It’s meant to be a fun hobby and I think too many forget we’re just voyeurs watching some millionaires playing sport. It’s really not that deep.

I think it's more likely he's been looking for his chinos, which are likely to have blown into a neighbouring property in the recent weather.

It's more fun when we're losing, too happy clappy oooh I'm a nice guy when we're winning.
But prime entertainment is transfer window time, that's some good shit.

I always give it a few days after a loss before checking in on here. Im usually down in the dumps as it is after losing without reading some of the vitriol that gets posted. For some people its good to vent granted but maybe take a deep breath first.
