Of course it isn’t but the “very poor Forest side” cost an absolute fortune and now is fairly established.

I’m not into all this smug nonsense about fans sniping either way as fans are reactionary and say stupid things. Last week Thomas was slaughtered for being shite and this week he’s going to play for England.
We are going to lose a lot more games than we win. I did think the pile in on Lampard about losing the plot, not knowing what he was doing, out his depth as a PL manager was embarrassing. I think the slagging of Grimes is strange as well. It’s clear Lampard wants to develop the players who got us promoted and try with as many as he can to be at a level to compete.
A lot of work was done in the week since Brighton and Villa. The defending was far better and more focussed. Despite people believing Amenda is some kind of second coming we did look comfortable against a lot of pressure.
We revolved the forwards round well in the first half. I’ve been critical of BTA but his work rate was excellent. I think that’s what a lot of the new signings will have to adjust to - the work rate the coaching team demand before selection.
Goal scoring is as big an issue as conceding and we need to be more clinical to have a chance of survival but we are likely to go down and are expected to - most media journalists predict it.
At least we are at fitness and intensity levels where we can compete and it’s really on the Hull game that’s clouded judgement
