Ovation at the end. (1 Viewer)

Spot on - we have a lot of new (and young) players, and the last thing we/they need is the crowd to turn on them. FL is an intelligent man and can see what we see (and more) and will change personnel as he sees fit. Let's see what we can do at Forest. PUSB!

I wanna see a reaction to todays game against Villa too firstly - if I was FL I'd be getting them so wound up & angry now telling them they need to start showing everyone what this team's about & to make people eat their words - time to really get pumped up now

A bit shit congratulating the team for getting demolished , i left after 78 minutes which is atleast 9 minutes earlier than normal

No I’m as pissed off with all these people saying we were applauding the players we weren’t
Ok not applauding but its all a bit performative getting behind the lads when they are 4 /5 down , should be like that nonstop at 0-0

Yes there was no ovation. There was however an injury time long rendition of 'Sky Blue Army' which continued before, during and after the 5th goal, which felt like it was a 'fuck it this is my club come what may' attitude, and as a kind of antidote to the pasting we were getting on the pitch, and reaction to those supporters that left early (not that I blame anyone for doing so in this instance).

This

Wondered how long it would take some of you to give up. 4 games 😂.

Having a go at our own supporters for trying to lift the players after a 5-0 loss.

We’ve seen what happens when the fans and players are disconnected and we’ve seen what happens when we stay together. I know which camp I’ll be in. See all you fickle lot at full time when we start winning again 👍

Not sure the owners brother should be reposting so much super fan drivel tbh, people can do what they want. Its a terrible look. This is just one of the many things he's been reposting.

Fair weather fans 😂😂

Hey atleast hes getting some likes on twitter
The ones patting themselves on the back on Twitter after this are completely shameless. What do they want a fucking t-shirt? Which reminds me, where's my fucking members t-shirt, King?

Assume he posted it it from his sailing boat in Sandbanks. He is a knob.

Exactly this and I am here for it. I’m getting slated by mates constantly this season who chose to support Arsenal, United, Liverpool with no connection apart from ‘they’re a good team’ etc which imo is more embarrassing. We may well embarrass ourselves this season, but I wouldn’t pick any other club. The highs are real highs as we experience the real lows. Let’s get behind them and if we lose at least we’re experiencing what football is actually about.

Who was getting applauded then?
It was a chant with clapping involved not an ovation, like when people sing wladitt, it went on for about 10 minutes and was just a reaction to what was happening on the pitch.

Pretty much this from my perspective, although without the 'reaction to those leaving early' bit. I support them however i want, if people felt pissed off and left after goal 3, 4 whatever then that's up to them. What i really, really don't get (not aimed at you at all) is why people seem so keen to shit on the 'other camp'. I've sat through countless games where for one reason or another the atmosphere is toxic, i never want to have that again, even if i suspect we might soon.

If you've ever been away and sung "Twist and Shout" for 20 minutes despite us being shit, it was basically the same thing.

Not an ovation for losing 5-0 at home.
I fear you are wasting your time. It’s been adequately explained numerous times and it’s patently obvious what it was. But the dullards can’t see past it being applauding the performance - which it wasn’t.

It's weird. Maybe I'm getting old but these youtubers and influencers who want attention do realise that VAR won't overturn 5 goals because they clapped loudly?

Join a fucking choir.

Original tweet is proper super fan vibe haha

The toxicity of the fan base 💤

I don’t get this attacking other fans stuff. Do the “plastics” hold their hands over the mouths of the “true” fans or glare at them for singing?

It’s all “super fan” nonsense for show, just like using the term “plastics” is.
Plastics hahaha it’s all the so called you tube influencers who hop on this train for their own individual gain calling other fans out and portraying themselves to be a super fan

Really great reaction. I know lots of people are likely to disagree with me (including my lad…who unlike me doesn’t remember the war) but I ain’t waited 25 years to see us playing in the prem only to moan and groan through the season cos we’re not very good in comparison to the other teams. Fuck that.

Hopefully we’ll reach the stage where we can actually score a goal…
I feel like you , if we were are not good enough or go down so what. Like many I'll support the club I love till I'm created one day. As soon as the game knocked off yesterday the fan behind me just started slagging off all our players . He was a young lad and obviously not seen the awful years between 200-2017.
