One thing that still doesn’t ring true for me is Adi and Mark breaking up because Adi called him challenging in a newspaper interview. It seems so minor.

Utterly brilliant. Emotional. Well put together and chronicled superbly. A shame nothing from Robins, that would have been the icing on the cake.

However ....


We invited SISU to contribute to this documentary, They declined.

It’s probably all still a bit too raw for MR - I bet deep down he wishes it was him which is entirely understandable might I add

Plus he is dedicating his time to managing another club
 
I loved how sky avoided turning it into a 2 hour FL love in. So much of the old gang who made it happen got their airtime. Shame MR wasnt involved but his greatness shone through even without his presence on screen.
 
Only watched about the first 6 minutes on youtube but as people have already mentioned was clear that there should be video footage of many of the goals instead of the stills. Looks incredible though.

Does anybody think there will be a way to watch the full broadcast version? Don't have sky tv anymore!
Will it get uploaded to NOW tv for example and be available on a trial or something?
 
Loved all that. Great Doc and BTA confirming for me how lovely and intelligent he seems…hang on it’s still on!

Seeing the wasps stuff brought it all back…just how anger inducing it all was. Proper vitriol for them.

I’ve never rewatched the Luton highlights so hadn’t seen Carlton Morris consoling Dabo or indeed that footage of Dabo in bits.

Can’t say I’ll go back to watch them in a hurry!
 
Good grief we have been through the ringer haven't we. Taken the long road home, but we are back. Got to enjoy every second of this season and try to invoke those deep rooted survival instincts of years gone by. We deserve this.

Followed it up with watching Matty Grimes on the latest Fozcast. Highly recommended as well! 🩵

I don't know who that was for really.

Cov fans will know that the details go way deeper than it went into and neutrals it was just a factual explanation of events without anything to say why.

Cramming 25 years into 1 hour 30mins…bound to be a bit of a whistle stop I guess but thought it was good. Whet the appetite (even more) for tomorrow.
 
The version shown on TV has the clips missing from the YouTube version.

A huge honour to have been interviewed for it along with so many legends. Would face preferred my head not to have looked so massive, but you can't have everything, can you? Keeping my fingers crossed I didn't say anything too stupid and can avoid the wrath of social media.

Yeah I get the desire to see it and be seen in the media. I dragged my in-laws back from a meal to watch it.

So much has happened and definitely be hard to fit it in. It did seem to be Dowie - Boothroyd - Slade - Robins - Pressley etc. so quickly.

The sort of media that is directed at me is the Doug and Frank talking on the pitch for an hour so I can get it's a different audience.

Well worth being tired for tomorrow, very, very good.

It was whistle stop but nice to see so many old players who clearly have an affiliation with the club; lots of ‘we’ and ‘us’ when talking about us.

Lots of emotions throughout but the Dabo clips stand out, he was absolutely inconsolable.

Yeah, I agree and said to the lad…who I have probably told the story to 100+ times already…all of that took years. It was truly awful and just seemed to get worse and worse.
I guess it was always going to be difficult to capture just how awful it all was. Not just the ‘headline’ stuff but the terrible football that was served up and the day-to-day grind of it all.
I remember coming on here and thinking “what the hell would this forum talk about if all this stuff wasn’t happening”?
Turns out we’d still find multiple ways to ‘wet the bed’ and fall out with each other.
Well done us…I wouldn’t have it any other way!
