3pm kick offs
It's just nice to be the best!I didn't realise Peter Drury was a City fan![]()
3pm kick offs
Yeah they are both top tierI will miss Daniel Mann and Gary Weaver commentating on our games! The best of the best of Sky commentators and they are given the Championship matches, baffling really Peter Drury is an insufferable cringefest
I think we will kick off at 3pm more than people think next season - Apart from against the big sides we will not be that high up the pecking order to be on TV that muchThey seem pretty rare now

Haha always makes me laugh cause I can see myself in that picture. Basically had the block to myselfWon't miss fans of shite clubs like Stoke, West Brom and Birmingham posting that picture of the CBS with about 8000 fans in during an FA Cup 1st round game 12 years ago with the caption "Never ask a Cov fan where they were until a few years ago"
Believe it was the Arlesey Town game in 2012. like anyone would sell that outHaha always makes me laugh cause I can see myself in that picture. Basically had the block to myself![]()
Just had a look at Ipswich’s season in the prem to see how many they had. Home and away they had 16 out of 38.I think we will kick off at 3pm more than people think next season - Apart from against the big sides we will not be that high up the pecking order to be on TV that much
I think being on the world stage is going to be kind of exhausting. We had a real siege mentality for so many years - nobody knows what's happening to us, nobody cares, nobody's fighting for us or coming to help - and it's going to be weird being on MOTD, having multiple articles about us in national outlets etc
I will miss us mainly being anonymous, bar 1-2 moments in a year where mainstream sports media decides to talk about us, we get the usual bollocks and patronising takes. I do not want to hear what fucking Jamie Carrager or Gary Neville thinks about us. At all. Ever.
That will be amplified 100x in the Premiership and we will be flooded with mediocre, half-cocked opinions on everything about the club, the players etc. And also if you think SecondTier's awful bait posting on us (and every other team, it's not personal) is annoying, just wait until we reach the Prem.
This moment, this feeling.
I do wonder if this in a way is as good as it gets.
I also remember the feeling of beating United, Arsenal, Chelsea in the Premier League so I'm going to acknowledge that those moments were some of the best experiences as a Cov fan that I have had.
I just think that with having felt a million miles away from the Premier League when Mark Robins arrived for his second stint, that now being so close, having almost performed that miracle just feels incredible.
I'm savouring every moment at the minute.
Next season could be great/terrible/embarrassing.
This season has been close to perfect though.
'You won't believe what Wayne Rooney thinks about Coventry City's season so far!'

Imagine Mr Smith after we dealt with by Man City awayThe usual suspects desperately dialing the Samaritans hotlines 2 hours into the transfer window (hold on that’s going to continue).
Likely to be a proportion of tickets available to allArguments about away tickets.
There won't be any unless you have about 2000 points or whatever. A closed shop.
If we stay in the PL for a few years no kids will have enough tickets to ever attend an away game. Is that the case?
This doesn't affect me BTW.
I can bear not going to any away games as long as I get Wembley tickets with my season ticket .... and I have no school age kids.
But it will be sad for many others.
Why would you rather be back in the Championship than staying in the PL?These moments now are as good as it will get but going up will be a great financially if managed properly and will hopefully let us be challenging in the upper end of the Championship for years to come.
every single goal we score in the PL is going to be celebrated like the best one we've ever seen.
