Technically he is the best keeper that I have seen us have and I include Blyth, Hedman, Kirkland and Westwood in that. His handling, footwork and positioning is the best that I have seen from any City goalkeeper.

Same BHA fans reckon Beadle is just as talented as Rushworth but a year behind in development. Can’t say I see it whatsoever

Rushworth must have been terrible last year.

The Cayman Islands.
I was told we would be after James Trafford on loan if Rushworth is a no go

Wouldnt be a bad fall back would it

From what I've seen of Trafford, Rushworth is a better keeper so over to you Man City. 🤔

He has potential but he's had two pretty abject loan spells now and for both clubs he's been dropped due to poor performances.

Talent probably isn't the issue it's more likely a mindset and experience issue.

In reality after his spell at Oxford he probably needed another season in L1 rather than being thrusted into the Championship. Perhaps they need a rethink regarding destination next season.

Imagine having to think about dropping a keeper

Just gets better and better.

Keep improving as he is and he's going to be a very fine keeper for many years to come.

So pleased we've had his services this season.

His own words.

"It's got a real family feel to it, and everybody really cares about how you're doing on a personal level. Everything has just been the next step up from what I expected. I wasn't expecting anything bad, because Grimesy was boasting about it here from the start, and I trust his opinion, but I've fallen in love with the club and Coventry.

"It helps when we're playing so well, it's hard to see many negatives. I would never have known I could come to a place that would tick as many boxes as this, I love everything about this place."

Absolutely adore the bloke hope we get him permanently.

His only weakness is that dreadful moustache.

I don't think there's much chance of us signing him unfortunately, I think he'll be Brighton number 1 next season.

I guess it depends how much he wants it too. If he tells them he wants the move and pushes for it, then it could happen. They'll have other options they'll be looking at too, I'm sure, that will all be high level options.

He so fucking wants the move doesn’t he. Whether it happens or not is likely way outside of his control 😭

Imagine he does go back and we Play Brighton with him as Keeper in the first game ? I would hope he would get a massive reception from the CBS - it’s not like Hamer or Ohare who left chasing money he would have had no choice - it’s a very possible scenario if we don’t get him

I haven't seen a better keeper play for us (watched from the mid 90's). I would pay anything up to 20 million for him without even questioning it. He has the potential to be a regular in the England set up. We'll make an absolute fortune on him in the future.

Completely agree and exactly why I don’t think we’ve got a cat in hells chance. Even if by some miracle Brighton don’t want him lots of others will.
