I think between the day getting more popular with ex-players and many of them being older it was decided that it was too much and took too long.Agree with points on here ;
Our PA system is & always has been garbage
The half time “wheel out “ is not sufficient.
A pre match showing, of our former stars , would show a bit more respect & a lot more people to appreciate them .
Didn’t we have a walk around the pitch at previous years ?
Yeah-he could be tiling the new bogs.Agree.. I would absolutly fan boy a 90's Legend Day... even Paul Telfer deserves a place in that line up

Lol no think it's more to do with the effort spent traveling, I was only half listening but that what how I interpreted itSo? Did he walk it from there straight to the ground or something?
I think Robins had just left, but great away day regardless.Pretty sure this was during Mark Robins first stint with us aswell..tbf realy nice drive down there through the new forest

To the point on the thread generally, Legends Day should include a reduced number of players getting a walkout or parade and as much I do like a lot of the players who attended from their time here, I wouldn’t use the word “Legend” to describe some of them.
If we capped it to just bona fide 'legends' there would be a few members of the 87 cup final side there and that is itThey need less players.. 51 was far too many... and to many who are not legends

Yeah I think with the CCFPA they could do it differently than just having one game where they all walked out onto the pitch. Where players actually get a proper welcome and thanks for their contributions.Former players association
