Fair play to Leicester. Not been confirmed yet but apparently have just signed a forward for 2 schillings and sixpence.
Don't believe you. They can't afford that much.

Pompey Ipswich off.

I think that'll be good for us? Doesn't close the gap any further right now and we can hopefully have a bigger gap between us and them by the time they re-arrange again? Will also give them another fixture in a shorter space of time.
Depends when its rescheduled to surely?

That will give Ipswich 2 games in hand on us post-Boro game would it not? As they will not be playing cup weekend either

Well, yeah, obviously, but it's not going to be in the next couple of weeks I guess. 17 games for them in say 14 weeks (not sure what the actual number of weeks to mid-May is) is better for us than 17 games in 16 weeks.

More condensed schedule for them. Can only be a better thing for us with tiredness etc, no?

It isn't us that needs help with them signings 😂
I'd have been happy with a goalscorer coming in, but other than that I'm content with them.

The spare keeper and Munroe probably won't get to play much, Malanda looks awesome at least, Castledine slots in to the side straight away and is a free kick specialist we've needed more of (due to McGree's injury record) and Sarniento has potential to do well.

I mean, it'll be Pompey who've called it off tbf.

And it's been pretty wet down here the last week. Waterlogged fields all over the place.
Not really from what I'm reading, hearing.
Joint decision EFL on board, Ipswich considering their fans travel.

This is good I feel. No points available now and a game to be squeezed in later.
Pompey are in alright form of late, the cynic in me says watch them be $hit again when it gets rearranged.🙄

Still a bit of fixture pile up can't hurt and our fans are hoping at this rate an Ipswich game gets punted down the road to the 15th April.👍

The pitch is waterlogged. Nothing to do with EFL or Ipswich.

Usually a local ref will inspect and deem unplayable.

Yup. This.

Going have to cram in an extra game somewhere.

Hopefully they will beat Hollywood Boulevard FC in the cup too, making them have to rearrange yet another game

Taking my Cov hat off - If we can find a bit of form again, this is boiling down to a fantastic battle for the top 2 slots. Could potentially be 4 way shoot out into the final few games.

Fucking Ipswich fans are demanding EFL give them the points and ban both Portsmouth and Blackburn over these cancellations!
How entitled they are the absolute fucking wankers
They have a point they shouldn't have, if they get promoted by a point it will be absolutely criminal. They should be kissing the EFLs arse.

Wow the sense of entitlement from Ipswich fans is embarrasing. Some are calling Portsmouth tinpot for having a waterlog pitch and even saying the Efl should award Ipswich the three points

could really do with a cup run for them
Ideally for them to get to the quarters, as that would wipe out their 5th round league game, and also the 2 around Easter for the cup QF

we have 9 games in 7 weeks before the international break, and then 7 in a month afterwards

Ipswich already have an additional league and cup game on top of that so 18 games over effectively 11 weeks .

Out of their 17 league games to go only 7 are at home (and 3 of those are back to back home games) - they have been very average away .

A quarter final run, to postpone a further 3 games would probably finish them off

wyken on the naze
This is insane, match postponed twice, if this happened to us I think we'd want the 3 points too...
You can't start handing out points based on bad weather
