Unless we dont get promoted, he is staying with us. Lets hope hr lives upto expectation as I have never seen him play, as I suspect, many others on here havent too. A stormer against Oxford would be very welcome

Hallelujah!!
No pressure Frank, you've just got to single handedly stem the away day onslaught of the last 2 months and save the hopes and dreams of all the support thus rescuing them from the trauma and crushing disappointment that failure would bring , welcome aboard!

Also @ptr put some respect on Jamie Allen’s name, he can do a job in midfield off the bench for sure.

And before anyone says “Latibeaudiere plays midfield for Jamaica” I’d like to point out, if Jamie Allen was Jamaican he would probably be their best centre back.
Not disrespecting his name at all, I like him, been an excellent servant to the club.

But players breeze past him just as easily, people need to give their head a wobble if they think he’s what we need for chasing automatic promotion. Torp and Eccles much better players and genuinely think Allen will struggle for a place on the bench now.

As for Lati in midfield, where do I start.

I agree Torp and Eccles better players but I think both of them will still start relatively often. I think Allen will remain on the bench.

We will not have 3 centre mids on the bench.

Eccles
Torp
Wilson
Wolf
KKH
Bidwell
Yang
Markelo
Simms

That’s assuming EMC is injured because if not, one of Sakamoto or Esse takes a place. And Markelo, for the price we have paid, will have to appear on the bench sooner rather than later.

In case we mess up automatics.

This will give us that edge to get over the line in play offs. Another huge option.

Fwiw im still confident of top 2.

Fair, but I would probably have Allen over Bidwell and Yang on that bench as KKH can cover both sides as can (apparently) Markelo. But that’s because I am unexciting and if we ever went 1-0 up away from home again, I’d just sub on loads of defenders and midfielders.

Couldn’t give a shite what some Brentford fans think, tinpot club who look totally misplaced in the Premier League.

I’ll make my own mind up after 5 minutes of watching him play, thanks.

And nor being good enough for a top half PL club doesn't mean he's not what we need.

Assuming Onyeka’s signing is going to be a success then the ideal outcome is that Allen gets very few, if any minutes for the rest of the season. We are stacked in that department now.

Jamie's time with us is almost done I think
Harsh, especially given what he's been through but professional sport is harsh.

Outstanding servant to the club.

He’s had very few minutes even without Onyeka here so I agree. I’d just rather him as a bench option than some of the other more “attacking” options for away games.

Really excited by this signing. Hopefully stop shitting ourselves everyone gets close to the pen box.
