As bad as that was, and no matter how worrying our form is, no point anyone crying about. We go again, regroup and start afresh next week. This group of players got us here, so we have to back them to turn things round. Have we been found out? It appears so, so work for the management team to do, but not throwing in the towel. Season starts next week, everyone connected with club should get their chins up - it's not over.

No it won’t for fuck sake.
I don't know, tbh.

Fairly or unfairly, his stock was very low when he arrived; blow this and it's going to be very difficult to rebuild reputation. All it needed was to avoid imploding.

I’ve just had the same conversation about knock on impact it could have. Whilst I’d like to keep positive, I can’t at current woods and trees comes to mind - just foooking turgid football at the moment. It’s like we’ve flipped season, start well and finished shit rather than start shit and finish well! 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

it 100% is this, we’ve done a reverse Mark Robins…

at least on the bright side it will probably also royally fuck Lampard if we don’t go up - he needs this to wipe what has gone before, and not have another pretty monster failure on his CV

Yeah I think he will struggle after this. Look at Gerrard.

Shit again. Said it before but we'll slip into second and people will shut down any complaints with shit like 'we'd have taken this at the start of the season' and 'still autos' before we slip into the playoffs by the end of the season and get knocked out in the semis.

You can see it coming a mile off.

Need at least one statement signing before the window closes and Lampard to do his fucking job.

A month ago we were about to play Ipswich, 8 points clear at the top and a win against them potentially taking us 16 points clear of 3rd. Now we're only top on goal difference and Hull in 3rd are only 5 points behind with a game in hand.

To be fair, whilst I said recently we won’t be winning another single away game for the rest of the season, our home form (results) genuinely is the stuff dreams are made of.
Exactly were shit away but our home form is brilliant, just keep going, absolute head loss by some on here

What...that we're about to get relegated to League One?
Definitely catastrophising, if that is a word. We might still make top 2, we might still win the PO's. Stranger things have happened-like blowing a 13 point lead!

We have bottled the biggest lead in championship history

I genuinely think we’ll bottle this year and then we could be one of those sides that doesn’t recover abd we’ll be in a relegation battle come this time next year

I’m confident we’ll be in league one before the premier league
Do they allow you to cross the road alone, by the way?

Original

wake up and smell the coffee

It's obviously poor at the moment, but you announce "season over" multiple times a season.

I remember you saying the same when we lost to Sheffield United and then still went on to make the play offs

Would you want to shit away millions on a midfielder when you’re still gonna be given a defensive display such as ours?

I hope Lampard shows some bottle and drops Thomas Kitching and grimes for Latibeaudiere Woolfenden and Torp/allen
This is what I'm hoping also.

This current backline and midfield setup for whatever reason is no longer effective, time to try something else.
As good as Eccles has been in a more advanced role, I'd drop him deeper and have Torp and Rudi ahead.
I think he'd offer a bit more physically than Torp or Allen could in that role.

Led 5 out of 6 away games. Drawn 3 lost two.

that's what can't be ignored, so much thrown away. Frank and the coaches need to shake things up between now and Oxford. Have to accept the way we set up and approach games is a huge part of the issue, not just individual errors.

Can’t believe what I’m reading. Classic knee jerk bollocks. Top of the league going into February. Home form fine. Away form needs a tweak. We’re never steamrolling this quagmire of a league. Chill out.
I’m guessing this is sarcasm?
