It's more of a "think you have a jacket spud left for tea and then you find it's gone green and sprouted" performance.

Wouldnt be surpirsed to see Preston finish bottom half..they are lucky they got the points they have or they woukd be sweating on relegation.
Mehmeti and Louza would be excellent signings, as would Amass who has gone recently.
I dont think many would argue.
I know people like to say XG means nothing , but what it does show is preston are overachieving and create the chances of a bottom half team
Ipswich need to do something different to get to where we already are. We don't have the same pressure as them to build a Championship super-team right now, that should stand us in good stead next season.
Louza I still had down to go to the top flight tbf. If he goes Ipswich frankly they’re taking the piss.
I think we have good players all accross the front tbh id like to see us get a good defensive midfielder
Because we're several points ahead of them and have been consistently playing at a higher level than them all season.
I wouldn't say we have been playing a higher standard all season, at times yes but not all season. Remember they've beat us well twice
Hence their incentive to throw the kitchen sink at it.
If they do go up then they're looking at another season in the PL with a squad that's too good for the Championship and woefully ill-equipped for the top flight.

The more signings we make now, the more difficult it becomes to overhaul the squad in the summer to reach the required standard.
Id like to think wed be looking at what sunderland have done this season more than what buying the best of englands 2nd and 3rd tiers ipswich do
