It’s true that if you ignore all the points we gained from games where we didn’t win easily, or the games where our keeper had to make some saves, we would be nowhere near the top of the league. Some serious questions for Lampard.

I think i understand the panic , its hard to not think that way
I don't, things can change quickly and although we didn't look good a times we looked a lot better than Christmas and we now have a strong bench at the moment, to the point that monday FL will need to drop 2 players from the squad Allen/Bidwell/Wolf

Right but away games at shite teams are on a par with home games against decent sides raising their game.
Did Leicester really raise their game or were we just below our best to even the playing field?

Milwall are decent but I wouldn't put them significantly better than the Preston team.

Will take the 6 points but we need to raise our levels from the last two matches, think it's risky to think that level of performance will get us the necessary points between now and the end of the season.

Millwall were unbeaten in 5 games and had beaten the form team Watford just before

You don't think Millwall look much better than Preston, well you don't know what you are talking about

Millwall are justifiably in the top 6 and looked a well managed side. Lesta fans agreed it was the best they had played in a long time.

Still laugh when I was told on here that I was a shit fan for prioritising the league title over second place cos I didn't want Middlesbrough to beat Derby earlier in the season 😂😂

Apparently Boro winning increased our chances of top 2 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Idiots

Well at that point it cut off Derby who were well in the chasing pack.

This is starting to put us under pressure now. It's important that we deal with it well in the two upcoming away games. On this form I can't see Middlesbrough doing anything other than beat Norwich next Saturday.

We could well be out of the top two before the end of February. That doesn't mean we can't climb back up again but the team will need to keep its nerve.

Can someone please confirm to me we have just won 2 really hard games, tuened around our christmas form and are 6 points clear. I don't think I'm sure reading this thread. Don't get me wrong it could all fall apart, but there's nothing to suggest that, when we were playing really well we took all the points we could to help when we went through a bad patch, which was always going to happen. Boro and Ipswich have also had a bad patch

Oh my life, we have always been under pressure, we've been sitiing top for months. On our form up to the Wrexham game no-one though Wrexham had a chance

Don't really care what boro or ipswich do we focus on ourselves and win games. We beat Norwich monday boro will think they won a game 3 0 and gained no ground that will start playing on there brains

Not panicking. Long way to go yet and our form would have to drop off a cliff for us to fail now. This is an easy game for them. We'll have easy games too.
It's just we've gone from 3 points ahead, to 9 and now back to 3. Really need to start getting a few away wins. At least Lampard knows about being at the top
