Salute Aye Aye Captain GIF
I grew up in Burbage c30 years ago. Leicester somehow thought it was their back yard, but plenty enough Cov / Forest to create a nice little rivalry and associated hatred for the whole lot. The Union on a Saturday in Hinckley was fun after a derby.

Sister lives in Burbage - Cov fan. Nephews and Bro in law all Cov fans and all have STs.
Think there are a fair few (Cov) City fans over there!
i lived in "bur-bidge" for a couple of years a long time ago. no one there had the slightest interest in football.
it was weird.

My parents live here and my Dad is an ST holder too so I spend a lot of time here and Hinckley. But they have my kids tonight so I’m representing Cov with my partner who genuinely can’t even fake interest when I explained the situation.

Definitely see more Cov tops around the village these days!

There isn't a Saturday mens football team over in Burbage or Hinckley, which is a real shame considering Hinckley holds the 2nd largest football stadium in Leicestershire behind the King Power. Burbage fucked off to Huncote to play there, AFC Hinckley play in Barwell and Hinckley Leicester Road folded recently. I live in Burbage so would definitely go along and support a local team if they played there.

Somehow there's enough rugby players to fulfil Burbage RFC and 3 Hinckley teams though. Easier to catch the ball with all their fingers though I guess.

Bad omen for us today? Just had a fox run infront of the car on the way to work.

Has anyone got that sinking feeling that we have/will bottle it?

So far clear at one point (now down to 3 points). Typical Cov to throw such a good opportunity away.

Sorry to be the doom merchant. Guess it's too long being a supporter i guess!
Nope, look at the squad we’ve had and injuries, they’re more or less all back, we’ve had 17 goals in torp and Asante missing, wer’e still 8 points clear of 3rd, that’s huge,

Genuinely don't know how to call this.
I just hope we can get back to our pre December form which hopefully with players rested, returnees from injury and the new editions we will.

Despite the poor attitude that they seem to have in their squad, they still possess some quality.

Never been more confident of a win against them, can see it being by a few aswell

As much as we all mostly hate Leicester, on paper their team is top 2.

Massive game today. Just hope the team and the fans turn up

We’re there to be shot at the top and everyone raises their game now but hoping the mini break has done us some good. Still ours for the taking
