Just something else to use to have a moan. Sounded like some posters had already prepared King Out banners for Saturday after our lead at the top of the table had reduced to six points and Day 5 of the transfer window had passed without multiple signings

A more established top end player for this league would be welcome and still what I would prefer to see but these loans out wide eliminate the issues with depth in those positions.

So we will have 4 wingers and 3 strikers when BTA is back and if the loans happen but you think we need another striker? I agree with the midfielder and if if we have any money would want it spent there, not worried about the defence as I think Wolfy will step up and possibly retain his place as he has a run of 3 games to establish himself 4 if you count the cup. We need someone to help Grimes out, no one coming short on the half turn and pushing into the top of the pitch.

Cant have too many strikers. We need a player similar to BTA ideally for the high press and speed

2 good loans signings both can play either side adds the depth we need in those positions. Got a feeling Doug may be has 1 or 2 more loan to come and then i think see 1 perm.

I also think we see Andrews out on loan get him the experience he needs. And if Perry gets a game against Stoke and performs well then i can see Brau or Bidwell being moved on.

Not to mention, the "full consistent season under their belt" comment. Esse has 3 consistent season at this level under his belt in 61 appearances for Millwall earning him a £14m move this summer to a PL club he's turned out 10 times for!

2 promising young players getting ready to play in the Prem are not good enough to help get us to the Prem?

We're fishing in a different pond. One of these players was signed for nearly 15m. Our record signing isn't much over half that. He has played enough in the Championship to be able to get to speed quickly.

Esse has more championship experience than Mason Clark and was bought for £12m… I’m reasonably happy with that!

Prepare to be disappointed. I have consistently been predicting, since 4th November, that we would miss out.

That said, if the rumours are true that we are about to get Yang Min-Hyeok and Romain Esse, then I'm a pretty happy bunny.

I think we will still get another one or two players in, with one of them at least being a permanent signing.

That's not the point. The first team have shown that they can consistently win games. The problem has been a lack of depth meaning that the starters are completely gassed. All we need is a few contributors who can come on and provide a little bit of cover so players like EMC and Saka can get a break every now and again

Sounds like if we get Manneh thats 3 players to cover the front 3.

Would imagine no strker signing unless Wright went, and then I'd be happy with us just needing a CM and LB

As for Manneh…if he hits the ground running at wherever he goes he can help that side take points off clubs around us. If he doesn’t, we dodged a bullet.

It’s not a bad outcome either way.

He looks alright, even though I know these clips portray a player's best bits. It is from 2024, so he's probably matured a bit since then.
