Definitely that, he keeps getting chucked out on loan. He was fine at Blunts last season but not amazing. I assume he'll move permanently to a Championship club in the summer.
Esse sounds like it’s all but done. Manneh is lingering fairly long. I can understand why we are looking at other options too

Ben Brereton was much more of a Wilder type player tbf. Rak Sakyi needs to be playing as part of a proper direct attacking 3. Think I said elsewhere he’d have been a good pickup at the start of the season but given we’re now in for Esse (who’s ahead of him in the Palace pecking order) I’d go with him instead.

Esse seems pretty certain.

The question is would you choose Rak Sakyi over Abada or Manneh

Yeh same, I'd have been happy back then but if Esse is available I'll take him thank you very much.

It's making me cringe how many people are turning on him as if he is some evil guy all of a sudden. Even before your post they decided he's not good enough . Weird
IMO Manneh taking his time is common sense.

It’s a very short professional career all things considered and he owes it to get the best deal he can. If he joins us he’s taking the risk we go up and he gets a promotion pay rise.

Where as this other club is guaranteeing that wage straight away and might be offering more consistent minutes as he’ll be competing with EMC or Rudoni here to start.

If Doug can id take both Esse and Rak-Sakyi as they can play either side and Esse can play through the middle. But if its 1 Esse would be my pick.

As for Manneh its a big move and if he wants to look around then fine. We also have the ability to do the same and a deal will be on the table only for so long. Both Esse and Manneh we should fond out next week i would of thought.

Lets see

Problem is he's already had a deal collapse in the summer. If he's fucking about clubs further he's going to get a reputation.

I imagine to be fair, he’s going to go to one of us. If he bins both off fine, but don’t think he needs to worry about that

Lets see

Esse and Rak-Sakyi both play RW

Esse will be option 1 with Rak-Sakyi back up if that falls through

Manneh is the LW option

Most important Jan transfer window of the clubs history?

Dean Austin needs to put overtime on for his team, none of the recruitment team should be booking in less than 90 hours per week.

Doug needs to speak to his accountants and maybe sell some properties and businesses.

It’s one thing getting in quality players for this level, it’s another asking them to be fully match fit and come in with no settling in period. They will be expected to perform from the off.

King has to get the message loud and clear now. Reinforcements are desperately needed and fast.

Lampard has done wonders with a small group of players but it only goes so far in a 46 game season, especially playing the high intensity we were in October/November

Moving quickly is key. We need a couple in the next few days.

Think we need a grimes-level 8 fairly desperately in addition to wingers

We look so open now the energy has gone in midfield since Torp started having injury issues

Torp is a big loss when not playing or fully fit. An 8/10 type player. Plus two wingers. And if they can upgrade a CF at the same time great

He's had 2 transfer windows here and I'm not convinced we have spent anything outside what we have raised. Lampard must be so frustrated.

I feel for him, practically having to beg or slyly hint at us needing players. 2 weeks now till lesta lets hope king can pull it out the bag
