managers always want more players, doesn't mean the player is worth the money they want and i'm not sure he is worth the rumoured wages

If Haji is off, don't worry. I see two options and they'll have been lined up. I don't believe that Frank hasn't seen what many here can and hasn't considered bringing in a new striker. Honestly, I think Ellis is off in the summer too. Neither are good enough in my opinion.
Option 1: we are about to spend a huge amount on a young striker, probably not from a UK club unless it's a Premiership player who cannot get a game. By huge I mean trouncing our transfer record fee.
Option 2: we are going to borrow a proven championship striker, with a view to option 1 in the summer.
We just don't do second rate any more. Everything is planned for an upward trajectory and growth in value. Relax.

Yeah, Murphy’s their best player for sure. He wouldn’t replace EMC. We could have him coming on in short bursts…we could be just like Pompey.

Yeah, i shared this. Was some chatter in the lounge before the Bristol match iirc. I did say take it with a pinch of salt though, i don't know the two guys who were talking about it. They seemed pretty adamant that we had made an enquiry and that it made sense because apparently he has a good relationship with Lampard.
