This is the opportunity to get to the Prem and Doug needs to back Frank in Jan. Frank has said we need 25 man squad because of the long season. So let’s see how many more come in.

He hasn't said that. He mentioned we needed additions but never said how many

If we pick up another 4 wins before the end of the year then surely Doug has to roll the dice. Its not often the relegated clubs start so poorly.

Ipswich will come on strong, but I'd be over the moon with 2nd

Will be a very interesting January. If we are still at the summit then surely players that we earmark will be additions with one eye on the Prem.

Also what's exciting is how many top talents are now open to a move to us who wernt before?

Signing for us is kinda like signing for a premier league team at risk of sounding cocky. League players will be chomping at bit and prem players may be willing to take a few months worth of level step down to join us

I think it will be a tricky window.

We won’t want to be offering 3 yr deals to players that the club don’t think can step up to the Premier league, equally we can’t offer prem quality players long term deals as we are not certain we will go up and therefore fund their package …. I think we might see a few loans and 1-2 per signings of players we think can make the transition ….

I’m pretty sure mehmetti is on the radar and looks like a top forward player too
Still think sheaf replacement for the squad required
Not too many though unless Bidwell Brau and other similar ones move on
