Having enjoyed the first one, I watched Black Phone 2 last night. It didn’t get a great reception here. It was alright.

Not scary/tense but it passed a couple of hours or so.
I know most/all horror films are a bit daft but all too often they get a bit too daft, if that makes sense. All a bit overblown.

I should say I really like horror films, and watch a lot of them and this is nowhere near the worst I’ve seen. Just not as good as the first one.

Watched a film yesterday called The Senior, based on a true story about an American college football plater called Mike Flynt it starts in 1970 where he is the captain of us college team but gets kicked out in his final year for fighting. Forwards to 2007 and he works in construction attends a school reunion and decided to try out for the team again. Pretty good

Watched the first two episodes and absolutely loved the first episode. The second one, was a bit batshit crazy, but still liked it.

At times, in the second one, I felt like I was in a episode of The Good Place.

Watched the first two and absolutely love it. Although you have to hope he has it all mapped out otherwise there's a high risk of it going to absolute shit at some point like Lost.

Went to see this last night. Agree it wasn't as good or original as the first one, but I still liked it.
Was a bit more farfetched than the first one, and I preferred when the grabber was an actual person rather than something supernatural.
Thought the music and visuals were really good though, especially the grainy dream scenes.
Felt a lot like a nod to Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday 13th.

Yes! That’s what I was thinking re Nightmare on Elm Street…and agree about preferring the less supernatural original.

I didn’t hate it just not as good as the first one.
